So it has come to this…

Shameless attention whoring ahoy! I figure if Ferns can get away with it, why not me?

Rori is once again taking nominations for the best sex bloggers. Last year I was nominated and ended up on the list, as I blogged about at the time. Now obviously as a serious and dedicated sex blog blogger, I’m above such petty popularity contests. It matters to me not one whit should I be nominated or not. My only concern is to bring you, my dear readers, the best femdom based material I can. But it strikes me that getting nominated would encourage more readers to visit. And that would mean more readers to write witty and insightful comments. And that in turn would create a better quality blog for everyone. So I’m really doing it for all of you out there.

Anyone buying that unimpeachable logic, and wanting to help me help you, can do so by leaving a suitable nomination comment on Rori’s site. It’d make me, I mean you, as happy as a Deviant Kade being tied up by a Simone Kross.

Big things in small places

I thought I’d finish my trio of artwork posts with an image from Kami Tora. On the face of it, with that enormous pink dildo, this looks like a typically stylized and over the top bit of femdom artwork. I really like Kami Tora’s work, but exaggeration is part and parcel of his style. However, the funny thing is, there are probably a few guys out there for whom this would not be a completely crazy insertion. For example, check out this animated gif or this one. I’m constantly amazed what a lot of lube, years of practice and a kinky dedication to stuffing enormous objects up your butt can achieve.

Wrapped in rope

Here’s a fun image to start the week. I have several longer posts lined up, but having spent the evening slicing, dicing and simmering in the kitchen, didn’t get chance to finish any of them off. This is by the artist Barry960 who has featured in a previous post. It captures a nice chemistry between the two of them. She looks happy with all her intricate rope work and he looks as though it has turned out to be a bit more involved and restricting than he was expecting.

A delicate slap to the penis

This post was supposed to be a thoughtful follow-up to yesterdays one on the topic of negotiation. Unfortunately I got sucked into watching an old Columbo movie and ran out of time. If there’s one thing I like more than blogging, it’s well, many things actually. Sex. Bondage. Pain. Wine. Food. Books. Art. Fast cars. So really, among the many things I like more than blogging, one is classic Columbo movies. And that’s where my time went tonight.

I’ll therefore settle for a simple post with an interesting image. I love their expressions. I love the slapping action. But what’s with his blue shirt and her pink boots? It’s good that they’re not in stereotypical fetishwear, but is this the best alternative they could come up with?

Men in pain

The image is originally from the Men in Pain site. I found it on the Femdom Times site.

Tongue in the right corner

It’s odd what will catch my eye about an image. Here’s a naked guy with a butt plug, and an attractive smiling lady inserting the said plug. There’s a lot to like about that. Yet the element of the picture that prompted me to post it was his tongue, stuck in the corner of his mouth. It’s clearly a natural reaction to his vulnerable position and the plug, rather than an attempt to look good for the photographer. That’s a very human response and it makes the image so much more appealing to my eyes. If only more pornographers could capture that human element in their images.

Plugged

I can’t track down the original source for this image. Which is very annoying. If anyone can help out then please leave a comment. I found it via the Femdom Style Counsel tumblr.

In her eyes

I just completed a fabulous couple of hours of breathplay with Lady Lydia. It’s strange how powerful an effect that type of session creates. I love many other things, but nothing pushes me as fast and as deep into subspace as breathplay. I typically zone out in the first few minutes. There’s such a sense of intimacy and connection about it. Not to mention the very powerful and primal gestures involved in one person cutting off the oxygen of another.

One of the aspects I particularly like is the ability to look at the dominant as it happens. I find myself focusing on her eyes, the world narrowing down to just the two of us. Normally a long shared look indicates either a challenge (staring someone down) or deep affection (gazing into each others eyes). In contrast submission is often associated with averting a gaze and looking downwards. Yet in this kind of play the shared looks work as a means of communicating acknowledgement and acceptance. There’s no mediation or indirection. It says – “I’m here. I’m with you. I see you. I choose to do this to you/accept it from you.”

The image below is a pegging shot rather than a breathplay one, but it seemed appropriate. I chose it for the looks they’re exchanging and that sense of connection and tenderness.

Shared Look

Curved cage

This looks like a particularly entertaining design for a cage. It’s pretty cramped but, from a casual inspection, it would appear to rotate, pivot and be movable. The design is nifty, but it would be a hard thing to explain to a visiting relative. Traditional square cages can at least be attributed to holding a dog. It reminds me a little of this artwork, which is described as a parrot cage, so perhaps you could just say you had an enormous bird that escaped. Or maybe that you’re building a giant globe and haven’t got around to adding the continents just yet.

I found this on the Geek Domme tumblr. I’m afraid I don’t have an original attribution.

Back to reality

I’m safely back in the Pacific Northwest, feeling a little zonked after taking a (delayed) red-eye flight from Hawaii. I’ll miss the sound of the surf, but I’m looking forward to some decent coffee and some well made cocktails that don’t feature a blender in anyway. Hawaii is famously relaxed, but in some aspects island time isn’t so much slow as 40 years behind the curve.

After all the sunny outdoor shots of the last few posts, this seems a good image to mark my return. It’s more my speed, featuring a dark interior coupled with some nice rope bondage and intense nipple torture. It features Daphne Rosen and Wolf Hudson in a Men in Pain shoot. You can see another fun image from the scene here.

Oh, and just for the record, the post title is a small nod to a famous Red Dwarf episode.

Whizzer on the beach

I couldn’t do a sequence of beach themed posts without featuring some Whizzer Black artwork. That’s not because he typically features beaches in his artwork. The image below is pretty much the only one I know themed that way. Instead it’s because his artwork always reminds me of saucy British postcards from the seaside. There’s a nice sense of fun and absurdity to go along with the sexual suggestion. The latter is always a lot more explicit in Whizzer’s artwork than the kind of thing Brits in the 1930’s were sending from their holidays, but the mix of sex and humor is common. In this image I particularly like the little dog he’s added pulling at the hapless Whizzer’s swimming trunks.

Where dirt meets water

I’m not a big fan of the beach. I tend to subscribe to Bill Hick’s view of it…

What’s the fucking deal with the beach? I don’t get it. It’s where dirt meets water, alright? Is that that fucking amazing to you? I’ve got a bathtub and an imagination, I’m staying indoors this summer. That way I can listen to music that I like. Maybe I’m just jealous man, everyone at the beach is perfect, you know; tanned skin, white teeth, I’ve got white skin, tanned teeth.

Although anyone who has actually been to a beach recently will know that everyone is very much not perfect. There’s a lot of scary skin on display out there. It’s enough to make one thankful for baggy jeans and shapeless shirts.

When I’m not being a curmudgeon about the whole thing, I do enjoy the sound of the surf. And there is something about when dirt meets water that is a touch inspiring. That edge of land touching the apparently limitless ocean does spark a sense of awe. Particularly when viewed from the tiki bar across the street. So in honor of that, here’s a nice beach related image from Old Man Equine.
