Busy, Busy, Busy

Apologies for the paucity of posts in the last week. I’ve been a bit busy. It was my birthday on the weekend and then a couple of days later I had my US citizenship interview and naturalization ceremony. Both of these had to be celebrated by a drink or three, leaving me lacking in both time and clarity for blogging.

After being in the country almost 19 years, it felt like it was time to become a US citizen, although the current climate here did give me pause. In the end I decided that I shouldn’t let the (relatively) small number of assholes currently running the show in DC and in various state governments cloud my judgement. There’s still a lot to love about the US and the vast majority of the people in it. Plus, this way I get to vote. Taxation without representation is kind of a founding theme here, so given I’m stuck with the former, I should at least enable the latter.

I’ve no idea what image would be suitable for a newly minted US citizen, so instead I’ll grant myself a birthday present of an image. This is Lady Delphine, in a beautiful and very sexy shot.

Kink Month at Allure

As the post title suggests, Allure magazine is running a series of articles on kink during May. So far they’ve covered impact play, pegging and golden showers. Next up is balloon fetishes, which seems a somewhat a niche interest compared to the others, but I’m sure balloon lovers will appreciate the visibility.

The articles aren’t really targeted at experienced kinksters, but if you’re just beginning to explore a kink, or want a reassuring and user friendly article to share with a partner about your kink, then these Allure ones seem pretty good.

Hard Pegged Detective

I’m a big fan of the classic hardboiled detective writers – Chandler, Hammet, Cain, Ellroy, etc. Their gender and sexual politics aren’t exactly woke, and their plots often convoluted, but I love them for their cynical humor and the darkness of the stories.

The glamorous femme fatale entering the detectives office with a plea for help is a staple of the genre. Typically there’s a lot of flirting and smart banter, along with the sense of an unspoken trap that the detective willingly steps into. However, in all the books and films I’ve seen, I don’t remember this classic scene ever turning into a pegging situation. An opportunity missed perhaps? Things never typically work out well for anyone involved in these plots, so maybe a good pegging was what was needed. It certainly would have changed the sexual chemistry for the rest of the story.

Precision Peeing

Something tells me that the artist behind this drawing has never been on the end of a golden shower. Women’s bodies are truly amazing and capable of incredibly things, but they’re never going to be taking lead place in a ‘writing your name in the snow’ competition. Let alone accurately hitting an open mouth from several feet away. As I’m sure lovers of watersports with CIS women will affirm, if you’re not very close or using some sort of physical device to direct the flow, you’re going to get a face liberally sprayed with pee. Just lie back, enjoy it and jump in the shower later.

Rope Mummification

This image by Mistress Hinako makes for a nice complement to yesterday’s post. I think if you simply described the setup of the two images to someone they’d assume the wall bondage with straps was the realistic one and the man mummified entirely in rope was the fantasy artwork. Yet with this Mistress Hinako has managed to pull off one of the more spectacular rope bondage scenes I’ve seen in a long while.

Much as I love the aesthetics of this, I’m not sure I’d want to be the submissive. According to the blog post it took about 2 hours to create this set-up. Plastic wrap or bondage tape might not look as cool, but they’re definitely a faster way to mummify someone. I’d rather save my play time for the post bondage torture. But for all the rope sluts out there, this would definitely be an unforgettable scene.

Fastened to a Wall

There’s a common theory from the anti-porn crowd that the more porn you look at the more extreme your tastes will be. It’s a typical slippery slope argument. One day you’re getting off to 60’s playboy covers, and a few months later you’re tracking down pictures of oiled up Roman gladiators doing unspeakable things to each other with a rubber trident and a well trained octopus.

It’s obviously bullshit, as my 20+ years of looking at naughty pictures demonstrates. My tastes may have broadened, but they haven’t got significantly more depraved. In fact, in many ways I’ve got more critical of unrealistic or extreme imagery. I’m now drawn to scenes that have a stronger connection with reality and ones that I can almost imagine doing myself.

For example, what caught my eye in this image was the carefully placed padded bolster in his back and the tight but not too tight straps. It’s very hot bondage, that’s certainly difficult to pull off this neatly in reality, but it’s not crazy or an impossible physical position. Even his verbalization, with the moans and coughs through the bit gag is relatable.

LA DomCon 2019

While I enjoyed my recent LA trip, I have to admit I mistimed it slightly. I was just leaving town as DomCon 2019 was starting. Hopefully next year I can plan more intelligently and actually be in town to attend it.

I was amused to spot this tweet of Mistress Viola taking, as she said, ‘a selfie with An Li’s ass.’ Last year I put up this post with Mistress Servalan also being attracted to Mistress An Li’s ass. Clearly it’s a bottom of such beauty and wonder that even veteran dommes from all over the world are drawn to it!

I just love how much is going on and how little self-awareness exists in those few words. It takes real talent to boast about wealth while simultaneously communicating how cheap you are.

LA Fun Continued, Continued, Continued

For my final session in LA I met up with someone I’ve played with multiple times in the past – Mistress Lucy Khan. It was an appropriate end to my trip, as we played longer than the other sessions, and managed to combine an intense mixture of many different things. Some revisited themes of my other LA sessions (tease & denial, scent play, CBT, flogging) while others were unique to this particular event.

Notable in the ‘new activities for this trip’ column was an electrified urethral sound and vacuum cupping. After four different sessions with four different but highly talented dommes, it was interesting to reflect back on their approaches and stylistic variations. I enjoyed every session I did, but I think my most natural fit was with Mistress Iris and Mistress Lucy. They tend to a more playful approach, mixing laughter with intense moments. In fact if you look carefully at the image of my back, you can see Mistress Lucy smiling in reflection in the mirror. I take kink seriously, but that doesn’t mean it has to be serious. As I’ve written in the past, I think my fundamental kink is for contrasts, and I love Lucy’s ability to switch gears, sometimes pushing me hard and sometimes joking and playfully teasing. It’s a style which makes for a great play session in every sense of the word play.

Weirdly Hot

After my strangely sexy post of last week, today I have something that’s weirdly hot. I’m not particularly into foot torture and yet this shot, by Mistress Hinako, really grabs me. I think it’s the contrast between the heavy restrictive rope bondage and the artfully placed clothespins. It’s a beautifully balanced pose and picture.
