The bionic woman

Fans of strap-on play may be interested in this article on (allegedly) the worlds first bionic strap-on. Fortunately this isn’t a device designed to jackhammer someone at hundreds of thrusts per minute. Instead it translates squeezing or stroking actions on the dildo into different types of vibration to the wearer. I know a lot of women enjoy wielding a strap-on and having their partners suck or caress it. This would seem to be a great way to enhance that experience.

The company name – Orgasmatronics – is a little ridiculous, and I don’t think their resident inventor does himself any favors by wearing a pink bow-tie. However, they’ve already raised over $32,000 via crowdfunding, and the product itself certainly seems like an interesting concept. If any of my readers get an opportunity to try it out I’d love to hear what they think.

I don’t think this image was originally based on the idea of a bionic dildo, but whatever she’s holding, it does seem to have a life of its own. I found it on the Showcase of Male Submissives tumblr. I’m afraid I’ve not been able to track down who the original artist was.

Rope and smiles

After a long week, here’s something sexy and happy for the weekend. It’s by Heat.Hawk13 and features Honey and JackPotMatt. You can find other equally appealing images by him over at the Digital Silver tumblr.

It’s an image that puts me in mind of a Simpsons quote. They’re wistfully watching the Hibberts race snowmobiles, and Homer tries to reassure them “That’s not as fun as it looks”. Lisa’s deadpan response is that “Nothing could be as fun as that looks.”

The cuckolding question

There’s an interesting post and set of follow-up comments on the subject of cuckolding over at the Not Just Bitchy blog. It’s a thread that’s well worth reading if you’re at all interested in the topic.

I may put up some thoughts of my own in a later post, but in the meantime let me address one burning issue that Stabbity and friends are sadly neglecting: What is it with facial expressions in cuckold porn? Strange expressions in porn are nothing new, but they seem particularly bad in the cuckold genre. There’s always a smug bull and an aghast cuckold, along with a female porn star playing the role like every other sex scene that she’s ever done. The example below is a good case in point. For further proof see this and this. They make me laugh, but that’s probably not the intended effect. Can kinky film producers not chip in for a few acting lessons for their cuckold stars?

The images are from the Cum Eating Cuckolds site. I should add that the ‘cuckold’ above is Deviant Kade, a man who has done many excellent and well acted femdom scenes in the past.

Bondage with Lydia

I’ve done a poor job of documenting my own sessions in the past months. Either we’ve not remembered to snap photographs, or I’ve not got around to editing and publishing them. For example, I had a magical session with Lydia yesterday evening. Many clips and clamps were applied to a wide variety of body parts. I discovered that clothespins on the earlobe don’t really hurt while they’re on, or even when they come off, but it does hurt like hell if somebody squeezes the earlobe immediately after taking them off. Lydia played me like an odd kind of musical instrument. Remove a clip, then press or squeeze hard, and see what strange sounds emerge. Unfortunately I didn’t think to use a camera or a microphone to record the results for posterity.

Our play from a couple of weeks ago (which I mentioned in this prior post) did result in a few photographs, so I can at least share those. Although everything started very playfully, we eventually segued into some bondage, breathplay and CBT. You can see some good shots of the bondage here, here and here. It was very effective as it not only held me but also hugged me. Sometimes I can almost forget I’m tied up, but not this time. Even in subspace I was very aware of its taut loops around me.

Lydia also grabbed some close up shots of the cock bondage and the nipple clamps. The nipple torture looks more painful, but it was actually the rope loops around the head of the cock that really caught my attention. Nipple clamps tend to hurt going on and coming off, but aren’t too bad in between. With the cock there’s a lot more skin and flesh moving around, getting painfully trapped between rope coils as things expand and contract. Just when I thought I’d adjusted to it, something would move and an entirely new set of nerves would get pulled into the scene. It turns out to be particularly hard not to move when a sadist is pinching your nipples and cutting off the oxygen with plastic wrap.

It’d be a shame to have a post with only shots of my naked ass in it, so here’s a far more attractive one of Lydia. It’s pretty much the exact view I had yesterday, even down to the top she’s wearing. I don’t have a soundtrack to go with it, but imagine moans with an English accent and some gleeful laughter and you’d be most of the way there.

Bukakke!

Take two blindfolded dudes, five ladies, an equal number of strap-ons, and a generous helping of whipped cream. Mix liberally and allow things to come to the boil. Makes one fun looking bukakke scene. Note that you should ensure your selected dudes are not lactose intolerant before combining ingredients.

Afternoon Tea

I’ve seen many photographs of mistresses pouring a variety of fluids into the mouths of their submissives. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen tea used before, and certainly never in quite such a decorous fashion. Teabagging is undoubtedly a thing some people are into, but I’ve never heard of teapotting. I wonder where she stuffed the cucumber sandwiches?

Taking high tea in the afternoon is a tradition still occasionally observed in England, so it’s fitting that this charming photograph is from the London based Miss Martinet. If you’re in London or Bristol and fancy being on the receiving end of her whip, cane or teapot, then her contact information is here.

Venus in Furs (cont)

While I’m on the subject of the classic book, it would be remiss of me not to mention the new illustrated edition of it by the immensely talented Sardax. I have a kindle edition, which for reasons that escape me has become hard to track down. Isn’t one of the selling points of electronic books that they don’t go out of print and are always in stock? Anyway, if you’re interested in a copy, Sardax has a collection of links to places carrying the hard copy edition.

I have to admit I’m not the biggest fan of the original story. I’m glad I purchased the Sardax illustrated version, as it’s a book I feel I have to own and his artwork is always a pleasure, but unfortunately I find the primary character and narrator whiny and annoying. The writing is also very much of its time, which means its verbose, meandering and very formal in its language. David Ives was undoubtedly wise to avoid a straight translation of the book, and instead do a play with a play, letting him take the theme but put his own modern twist on it.

Of course, mentioning Sardax gives me an excuse to feature some of his brilliant artwork. This is from his illustrated version of the book.

Venus in Fur

I’ve made passing references to David Ives play Venus in Fur in past posts, but I’ve sadly never made it to the theatre to see it. Fortunately for myself and others who have missed out, it has now been turned into a film. Directed by Roman Polanski, it stars his wife Emmanuelle Seigner, and has been getting good reviews from both mainstream and kinky sources.

This isn’t the first movie from Polanski to explore D/s and sexual power games. His 1992 movie Bitter Moon was packed with kink and twisted sexuality. Even his very early movies, such as Rosemary’s Baby and Repulsion, touched on aspects of sex, power and control.  Given his history, particularly the infamous sexual abuse case, that can make for some uncomfortable viewing, both from a moral and artistic perspective. I’d certainly understand someone not wanting to give him a cut of their movie ticket price. Personally I plan to see it. His classic Chinatown is one of my favorite films and I’m looking forward to seeing what Mr and Mrs Polanski have put together here.

Showing some fetish love

Fetishists don’t get a lot of love. That seems an odd thing to say when the internet is awash in fetish imagery, but I think it’s true. When it comes to kinksters rather than pornographers, it’s a lot more about interpersonal dynamics, shared activities and top/bottom space. That’s true for most kinky blogs, including this one. Sadomasochism and D/s almost always require a complex and negotiated relationship with another person. In contrast fetishism can often come across as selfish, a focus on a thing rather than a person. That objectifying focus is, after all, the definition of fetishism.

I was therefore happy to read Liliane Hunt’s recent post in praise of foot fetishism. I can’t say feet do much for me, but I appreciate her pleasure in it, and her perspective as the fetishistic target. A pleasure shared is a pleasure more than doubled in my experience.

This image originally caught my eye for its composition and symmetry, but what I really like is his cheeky outstretched tongue. There’s a nice interplay between her haughty pose and his playful attitude.

Riding the horse

The tumblr comment on this picture gets it exactly right when it says it’s an uncommon picture of a male riding the wooden horse. This particular torture device crops up fairly often in both artwork and photographs with female submissives, yet almost never with males. I’m not really sure why that is, given that the device was historically used on men, including soldiers in the US civil war. It does seem particularly common in Japanese erotic artwork, so perhaps modern BDSM has taken its cultural cue from there rather than from Western history.
