The beauty of dominant women
In one of my weirder image associations, this somehow reminds me of the Michael Palin’s hairy unkempt man with staring eyes who introduced Monty Python’s Flying Circus. I can’t help but look at it and think “It’s…” followed by the famous theme music. They did a pretty wide variety of introductions using the character, but I don’t remember any involving cunnilingus.
The watermark links to a dead site, but based on the name, I assume it’s the work of the fetish photographer Eric Kroll.
I liked this short article on BDSM as a form of meditation. It doesn’t go into a lot of detail, but it captures some of my feelings on certain types of BDSM play. I’m by no means an expert on the topic, but the mindful meditation it describes does remind me of subspace.
Some activities seem to lend themselves more than others to this kind of mental state. Personally I’ve found that needle play (particularly when decorative), heavy bondage and very formalized corporal punishment are particularly good for it. Moments of stillness combined with ritual and rhythm definitely help. In contrast things like predicament bondage, electrical play and energetic fucking really don’t work. They’re fun, but tend to constantly pull your mind out of the zone and into the moment.

I often do image searches on particular femdom themes, and I’m frequently surprised what topics turn out to be popular. Last month for example, I was looking for some witch themed femdom, and failing to find much of interest. I’d have thought those two were a natural fit. I also recently spent some time looking for axe or sword themed femdom shots and couldn’t come up with anything good. Yet tonight, I searched for ‘tea femdom’ and found all sorts of shots based on dommes drinking tea. Who’d have thought it’d be easier to find a shot of a domme demanding a good cup of tea rather than a sexy dominant sorceress? Maybe porn is more true to life than we normally think?

Some people can be very particular about how their tea is made. This woman would appear to be one of them. As the old saying goes: If at first you don’t succeed, have the results poured over your head by an annoyed lady, and then try try and try again.

Update: Thanks to a helpful comment I can now say this comes from the short story ‘Kuzeinke no Saidai no Show’ contained in the series Sister Generator written by Samura Hiroaki.
It’s not often you can use the word ‘ravish’ to describe what’s happening to a man, but I think it’s appropriate in this artwork. It means ‘to seize and carry off by force’ or ‘fill with intense delight; enrapture’. That seems about right.
The artist is Milo Manara, an Italian comic book writer and artist.
I believe this is artwork from the 1950’s and a publication called ‘Kitan club’. I’m afraid I’ve no idea what the text says, but I do appreciate the artwork. The couple in the top image seem to be particularly enjoying themselves.

One of the more remarkable aspects of the Brexit story is the contrast between England and Scotland. While England was mixed on the issue, with a slight bias to leave the EU, Scotland was heavily in favor of remaining. As a result there’s now new discussion on Scottish independence and how it could remain part of the EU when England leaves. It’s incredible that having just recently won a referendum to maintain the union, the British goverment has managed to create a situation that gives new incentive and opportunity to dissolve it.
Finding specific Scottish femdom material to illustrate this post was kind of tricky. I know of dommes based in Scotland, but that’s not quite the same thing. In the end I’ve gone with a golfing shot by Eric Stanton. It’s a sport that originated there and is synonymous with the country. While the image is classic Stanton in its style, I’m not sure a golf pro would approve of the ladies swing. This mix of fashions is also kind of interesting. The lady wearing the tie looks like she’s from the 1980’s, where the lady next to her is a classic 1950’s Stanton look.

Kind of ironic that after my last post entitled ‘Stupidity in the UK – now slightly reduced‘, the country just voted to leave the EU. I’ll avoid going into the politics, and try not to alienate 50% of my UK readers, but I can’t say I’m a fan of that result. My opinion doesn’t really count for much however, as I’ve been away too long to have been able to vote.
I’ll mark the moment with a quintessentially British femdom scene. Regular readers will hopefully remember me covering some really stupid new laws in the UK that attacked freedom of expression and had a big impact on independent BDSM producers. Posts like this, this and this touched on some of the background and the law’s impact.
The good news is that the agency responsibly for clamping down on many independent porn sites (ATVOD) has been stripped of its power. And this month Pandora Blake – creator of the Dreams of Spanking site – managed to get her original ban overturned on appeal. She’s written about it on a blog post here.
Her site is now back up and running and accepting new members. So if you’re a spanking fan, and want to support a great independent site run by someone who has fought long and hard against censorship, then I suggest checking it out.
