Used panties for sale

Men buying women’s used underwear online is a thing. Not really my kind of thing, but I do like the free market ethos behind it. The women involved get an extra source of income and the men get their particular kinky itch scratched. Of all the many sexual financial transactions that happen, this seems like one of the easiest and safest.

If this is your particular kink, and you’re also into powerful women, then let me direct your attention to this sale of Queen Victoria’s Underpants. Admittedly they’ll be a bit pricier than the average pair from a Craigslist ad. At around 120 years old they’re also probably mustier and sturdier than most guys would like. But just consider who the original owner was. She ruled the largest empire in history, at almost one quarter of the earth’s landmass and one fifth of the population. Forget minor celebrities with products named after them, this is a woman with an entire historical era named after her. That backpage ad for used underwear may feature an attractive young lady in tight leather, but is she related to most of the royal families of Europe? I think not.

While I’m on the subject of attractive ladies in tight leather, here’s one offering someone a close-up view of her particular garments. Queen Victoria would not have been amused.

Games

I was fortunate enough to get to play a new game with Lydia tonight. It was called “How many needles can we put into paltego’s scrotum?” Much fun was had by all. The final score was Scrotum 1 Needles 40. Although when you play that kind of game it’s not really the score, it’s the taking part that counts.

I’m not exactly sure what game is being played in the image below, but once again it looks like the man is on the losing side. I think he should count himself lucky. This lady looks like the type to enjoy celebrating after her victory. Lydia is more the ‘spray some disinfecting alcohol on all the punctured area and enjoy watching him squirm’ type.

Femdom Game by TBTThe only thing I know about this artist are the initials TBT. It looks a bit like the style of xrenderer, but I’ve no evidence beyond that observation to link the two.

Anal terrorists

I couldn’t mention pride festivals without touching on the single funniest story of the weekend. Pride parades are happy occasions, but nothing made me smile as wide as CNN inadvertently did this weekend. They managed to spend 7 minutes of airtime confusing a flag covered in butt plugs and dildos with the flag of a terrorist organization. John Oliver does a far better job of mocking them than I ever could, and you can see his take on it here.

Should any CNN journalist or terrorism ‘expert’ still be confused, I’m sure people would be happy to arrange a demonstration for them. Here for example, is Mistress Eleise De Lacy about to employ a particularly large example. It’s not terrorism, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the gentleman involved had a moment or two of terror when seeing that in her hand.

Happy Pride Weekend

A lot of people have been celebrating Pride festivals this weekend. The recent and very welcome supreme court ruling that legalized gay marriage across the US added an extra dose of cheer to this year’s events. I’m still in awe that in just under 20 years we’ve gone from DOMA to the White House being rainbow illuminated to celebrate full legalization.

I wanted to find some rainbow themed femdom art for this Pride related post, but that’s a tricky thing to track down. Instead I think this striking piece makes for a good alternative. Its packed with colors, love and happiness.

Colorful strap-on artworkI’d guess the artist name is Klimt, but I haven’t managed to track down any more information than that.

Pacific Rim (again)

Here’s some rather nice artwork to finish off my trio of strap-on themed posts. It’s by the artist ponderosa and features the characters Raleigh and Mako from Pacific Rim. You can see a couple of variations on the drawing here.

Oddly enough this isn’t the first time I’ve featured these two characters in a strap-on themed artwork post. They previously popped up about 6 months ago in this post. In both cases I first spotted and chose the artwork before realizing who the two people were. Not quite sure why this particular pair prompt so much strap-on love, but I’m certainly not complaining.

T & D

Mistress T has a nice post up on the joy of not fucking her. It’s all about the pleasure (from her perspective at least) of tease and denial. I like it because it’s a topic that pushes my buttons. I’m not a fan of the humiliation slant it can take (the ‘not worthy to fuck’) but I do like the teasing aspect (the ‘oh you’re so close’).

It got me thinking about why sexual denial and frustration can be so hot. Generally speaking I’m not someone known for his patience. As a kid reading instructions and getting the right tools was never a starting point for a project. That was something that happened later, once I’d already dived in and screwed everything up with my ignorant enthusiasm. Learning to delay gratification is a good thing. I just always thought the delay should be really really small.

I wonder if for me the delight in tease and denial came about as a process of transference. Maybe it started with trying to prolong pleasure. Stretching out the moment amplified the sensations. Do that often enough and the happy brain chemicals start being associated more with the build-up than the actual event itself. By trying to make the moment last, I trained my brain to link pleasure to the promise rather than the reward. And while a reward can sometimes be disappointing, a promise never can.

Ivy & Harley

Important breaking news – two fictional comic book characters are now dating. The long rumored relationship between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy has now been confirmed from multiple sources. Forget all those other blogs bringing you helpful advice on BDSM, nuanced relationship advice or sharing deeply personal experiences of kink. Reality is for losers. Stick to this one for all the important breaking stories on fictional characters.

I’ve actually featured these two in one or two posts in the past. Kink often seems to crop up in their stories, so facetiousness aside, I do think this is a potentially fun development that may lead to some entertaining storylines.

Poison Ivy & BatmanThe artwork above features Batman with Poison Ivy and is by the artist Otto Schmidt.

Conversation fragments

Late night conversations in elevators are often entertaining. People have loose lips after a few drinks or when hooking up after a date. Tonight, in my condo elevator, I heard a woman tell her partner she’d fantasized about punishing some work colleague after tying him up with her scarves. I think she meant it to be an unpleasant experience for him, but somehow it didn’t sound like it to me. I resisted the urge to be the skeevy guy in the elevator with an inappropriate comment, and stuck to a ‘have a goodnight’ and a wide smile.

Most of my work fantasy’s consist of me not being there while still getting paid. That’s the kind of fantasy I can really get behind. Perhaps I should enhance them with an aggressive female boss who punishes me for not turning up (while I’m still still getting paid).

Feeling happy

I played with Lydia tonight. Much bondage, breathplay, nipple torture, hot wax and flogging was involved. It was the kind of play that gets me spacey almost immediately. The kind where I can channel the pain through a sense of shared connection. The kind where it hurts but feels so good and so right.

Right now all I want to do is collapse on the couch and drink wine, so this post will be short. I’ll simply share an image that captures an element of what play can be. There was no rope bondage in my case (although lots of leather belts and plastic wrap) but this has that sense of tension and connection that means so much to me.

ConnectionI’m afraid I don’t have an original source for this. I found it via the Alternative Femdom tumblr.

Hommage

I find it slightly disturbing when I make connections between femdom artists, photographers or performers. Being an expert on pre-raphaelite painting or the films of Ingmar Bergman (for example) would typically be seen a source of pride. Recognizing a particular pro-domme from a random tumblr photograph, knowing the dungeon it was taken in and figuring out the publisher from the style of shot, is a somewhat less marketable skill.

The artwork below is entitled ‘Her Kinky Wishes‘ and is by ashfaq-ayon. It’s a lovely drawing, but on seeing it I immediately recognized the inspiration of Rodzo’s work. It’s a very different artistic style, but the composition, text and set-up is pure Rodzo. I like it a lot, although I think the more realistic style makes the male posture look even more impossible than in the original inspiration.
