Serenity

After all the long, argumentative and wordy recent posts, I thought a return to a little visual loveliness might be in order.

These three images caught my eye for a number of reasons. She’s obviously very beautiful. I love the contrasting black of the lingerie and hair, with her delicate skin tone and slash of red lips. I also like the setting. Warm woods and fabrics make a nice change from dungeon drabness. But that really grabbed me was her serene expression. She’s not aloof or cold, just calm, composed and in control.

The meaning of life

This image made me smile. I don’t find it particularly erotic. It’s a little too surreal and impersonal for that. But it did put me in mind of a Monty Python sketch in the movie the Meaning of Life. It features a man who gets to choose the method of his execution and well, you can see what he picks in this clip. It’s not the funniest sketch in the movie (that would be this musical number), but if you were going to re-shoot it for the male submissive this looks like it’d be a great cast to use.

Ruffles and boots

A moody arty shot for this post. It’s a nice contrast of body position and language. For her it’s a forceful position, her legs open in a confident straddle. For him, with his body twisted and arms and legs folded back, it’s far more submissive. And that’s leaving aside the minor fact that she’s sitting on his face.

I’ve no idea why, but I always find that the black boots and tight white jodhpurs style trousers is a very sexy combination. Obviously they simultaneously emphasize the shape of the leg while concealing it, which pushes certain buttons. But there’s something about that specific color combination that’s particularly effective.

Brutality

I’m a little conflicted about this image. There’s a dark undercurrent to it that I find a little disconcerting, although I’m not sure I can put my finger on exactly why that is. Although I’ve posted other images with far more extreme pain and punishment play, this one feels oddly brutal to me.

That said, he’s clearly not too upset about the situation. And I do like the confident way she standing there – naked, aggressive and powerful. She has no need of any fetishist clothing to emphasize her status. The definition of ‘brute’ is of a ‘savage violent person’ and I think that description fits nicely.

Horsing around

I’ve posted before that I’m not a huge fan of pony play. It seems like a lot of hard work to get beaten. And when it comes to manual labor I’m a believer in quoting Ricardo’s theory of comparative advantages. Everyone should concentrate on what they’re good at, and I’m good at technology, mixing cocktails and being elsewhere when there’s heavy lifting to be done. My friends have some alternative theories that feature phrases like ‘bone idle’, ‘lazy’ and ‘work shy’, but I prefer to describe these as wild and untested hypotheses. Much like the theory of evolution is in Texas.

While I’m not particularly a pony play aficionado, I know a lot of other readers out there are, and thought they might appreciate this shot. It comes courtesy of Club Dom and features Mistress Deanna Storm and Mistress Aleana. They both seem suitably attired for riding, and their horse has a very impressed saddle and stirrups. Often in this kind of scene the saddle is a bit of a joke, but this one looks like it could actually be comfortable to sit in for a lengthy period.

Super Sub

This image put a smile on my face when I stumbled across in earlier today. Not sure who the mysterious lady is (I was never a big comic book fan), but she seems to have put Superman in his place.

Although as I come to think about it, Superman would probably be a pretty boring slave to own. He’d be able to complete all his tasks and chores very quickly, but that would mean he’d be hanging around waiting for more instructions all the time. And he’d be pretty tough to punish unless you had some kryptonite toys. I guess you could get him to punish himself, but where’s the fun in that? In a genre packed with kinky subtext and power games, he always was one of the most conventional and vanilla characters.

Updated: This is probably carrying my fetish for attribution a little too far, but thanks to sub2mgi I can now add that the mysterious lady is someone called Star Sapphire. I was also hoping to add a couple of terse sentences describing exactly who she is. However, after looking at her wikipedia page, it’s clear she’s one of the many comic characters whose back story requires a supercomputer and a team of nerds to keep track of. As best I can tell, she’s something to do with the Green Lantern.

Oxygen is for losers

I had an amazing few hours with Lady Lydia earlier this evening. I spent most of it floating around in subspace, just a big puddle of relaxed submission. She used a variety of tools to get me there, including a leather straightjacket, needles, a ball clamp, a crop and a pair of chopsticks. However, the most devilish tool of all was a simple piece of plastic wrap. Draped over my face it slowly got warmer and stickier, dragged closer with each intake of breath. Careful regulation of breathing helped prevent it closing off the air supply entirely, but it’s tough to breath slowly when somebody is trying to pull your nipple off with a pair of chopsticks. Or slapping a crop across a few carefully positioned needles. The natural tendency is to moan and suck in a big lungful of air. At which point the plastic does its best impression of an alien facehugger, and suddenly oxygen has become a scarce commodity.

We were far too involved in the unfolding scene to snap photographs. Which may come as a relief to those of you out there with a low tolerance for skinny naked British guys in your daily blog material. However, as an alternative I found this infinitely more visually appealing shot of Lydia from her visit to OWK. In this case the plastic wrap is being used for bondage rather than breathplay purposes, but the limited availability of oxygen is a common theme.

Cute Couple

Much as I enjoyed the scene portrayed in my last post, I’d be the first to admit that forced consumption of urine and cigarettes is not going to be to everyone’s taste. So for a change of pace here’s a fun little drawing I stumbled across.

They make a cute couple. Personally I like to imagine that it’s drawn from the perspective of a male slave shackled and caged in a corner of the dungeon. While the mistress plays with her sexy new toy, he’s going to be spending the next few hours in a horrible cramped and uncomfortable position. If he’s lucky he may get to watch, but probably not.

I know Ms Marie has been on the hunt for a female sub to play with. I wish her luck with that. Perhaps one day she’ll be able to post the equivalent image in photographic form from her Sissy’s point of view.

Spot the difference

I came across these two images on two different tumblr sites at two very different times. However, they’re clearly from the same sequence of images, original shot for the Russian Mistress site.

The models posture has obviously changed, but there’s another subtle difference between the shots. Either there’s a leak in the roof, or somebody has done a pretty poor job in the catching and drinking department. Let’s hope he’s a little more efficient when it comes to clean-up duty.

Incidentally, is it just me, or do other people also hate that type of top she’s wearing? The model is gorgeous, as are the boots and the pose, but I always find those kind of decorative chain tops ridiculous. The chains give weird dom/sub messages, and they don’t conceal, support or enhance anything that I can see. I always think this kind of top is classic mainstream fetish wear for people who don’t really get fetish. That said, if she happened to be looking for another slave who could potentially do a slightly better job of keeping the table dry, I wouldn’t necessarily make ditching the top a prerequisite.
