The Secret Lives of Sissies

Vice has an interesting article posted entitled ‘I Cross-Dress. Do You Still Love Me?’: The Secret Lives of Sissies. It’s a pretty sympathetic piece, featuring interviews and photographs of men at a San Francisco play party arranged by Mistress Alice.

The kink itself is a complicated one. Although it’s not a kink I indulge in, I can understand both the appeal of it and also why it annoys some people. What comes through from the article is the complexity and variety of the reasons behind it. Some people get off on a forced humiliation aspect. Some want to be as passable and attractive as possible. Others just like women’s clothing and the chance to wear it. Of course the same could be said for other kinks. People enjoy things like bondage or impact play for lots of different reasons. The difference is that the nobody gets annoyed about people getting tied up, where the sexual and gender politics of cross dressing does tend to raise hackles, which in turn makes it more interesting to look at the underlying motivations.

Cuck and Bull stories

I’ll finish my cuckold sequence of posts with some man on man action. This is actually fairly rare in cuckold porn in my experience. They often do shots of the submissive’s face close to where all the action is occurring (like yesterday’s post), but avoid any explicit forced-bi. I guess they think it’ll turn some guys off and limit their potential market. It’ll be interesting to see if that approach changes over time. Certainly the prevalence of forced-bi in erotic cuckold stories seems far higher than it does in movies, which indicates some potential demand for it.

Of course there are always exceptions. The Subby Hubby site seems to do more cuck on bull action than most, so might be worth checking out if that’s your thing. I really could spend the next week or two posting amusing cuckold porn pictures. For the sake of the sanity of my readers, I’ll try to limit it to just a post or two.

This one is the rarely spotted double cuckold shot. There’s the standard hot lady with lots of makeup, the sad guy in badly fitting lingerie and the disembodied big black penis. However, as an added bonus, there’s a crazy wild eyed guy who staring at the camera while having his face mashed into her bottom. It’s really three classic expressions. Growth industry

While I’m talking about cuckolding (as I was), I’ll make an entirely anecdotal observations: It’s a rapidly growing area of porn. Based purely on my random browsing, I seem to be seeing a lot more of it. A decade ago it was rare, but now it pops up all over the place. At least all over the places I frequent, which are, admittedly, not your usual kind of places.

In many ways it seems the easiest kind of kinky porn to shoot. You don’t expensive outfits, specialist riggers, a dungeon full of toys or a submissive who can take a beating. It’s just a regular porn threesome, except with one of the participants pulling a funny expression and looking aghast at what’s going on. At the same time, it’s also one of the hardest types of scenes to pull off in real life. Persuading a life partner to indulge in a little bondage or spanking is one thing, but it’s quite something to bring a third into a relationship. Similarly, it’s easy to set-up a regular BDSM session with a pro-domme, but very few of them offer a genuine cuckold type experience.

Of course, when it comes to a genuine cuckold experience, the porn productions aren’t much better. They do however have some of the most amusing porn images. This image is a classic of the type. The cuckold is doing something completely ridiculous, the hot blonde is wearing heels and staring at the camera and the black bull is reduced to a disembodied big penis. That’s most cuckolding porn in a nutshell.

Cucks

One of the weirder elements – of what has been a seriously weird year of politics – has been the rise of the term ‘cuck’ or ‘cuckservative‘. As this GQ article explains, it’s an insult used within the right to suggest someone is weak and reluctant to take a firm conservative stance. The derivation is obviously from the sexual kink of cuckolding.

Personally I don’t really care if the American right wing beats itself up, but I do find the term puzzling. The key element of cuckolding is surely the ‘cheating’ aspect and the feelings that provokes. By definition it needs at least three people, with one of them getting off on being spurned and denied. Maybe the cuckold gets off on the woman’s pleasure, or masochistically on the humiliation and rejection, but either way it’s a secret source of enjoyment. Do how does this dynamic map to the insult? If Donald Trump is the bull and Jeb Bush the cuck, who or what is the woman? How is the cheating happening? And is Jeb supposed to be getting a thrill out of it? It doesn’t really make much sense to me.

If nuts on the right want to raid the BDSM lexicon for insults, then surely ‘sissy’ would be a much better word to steal. That has no trio dynamics, and aligns more closely to the intended meaning of weak, effeminate and insufficiently red blooded. It even works in the longer form of ‘sissyservative’. That’s not to say I’d personally use or support such a term, but at least it’d make a bit much logical sense. Although in the current climate, logical sense is perhaps expecting too much.

Feel the burn

I noticed that I’d inadvertently published two consecutive posts featuring fire. That wasn’t intended, but given that I have a strange compulsion to post in trios, here’s a third on the subject on flames and heat. This image caught my eye purely for the look on his face. Fire and water

I’ve been avoiding watching the Olympics. Partly because most of the sports aren’t interesting to me, partly because the IOC is the only organization that can give FIFA a run for its money in terms of sleaze and mismanagement. There’s something very satisfying and life affirming about seeing someone perform brilliantly.

Another name that could be added to that list is Michael Phelps, who recently clocked up a record 19th gold medal. He’s particularly relevant to this blog, because he’s been featured here in the past. Allegedly his interest in watersports extends beyond the confines of the swimming pool. In the last day or so he made headlines for cupping marks on his body. While it’s a old Chinese medical technique to promote healing, it’s also a BDSM technique.
