I received a strange but amusing sales pitch the other day. A Sarah from the ‘Crazy Pet Guy’ blog wanted to write a guest post here. Apparently she thought there was a fair amount of overlap between her pet themed site and mine. Suggested topics included:

  • When Should You Give Up and Call a Dog Trainer?
  • How to Prepare Yourself for Dog Adoption
  • The Importance of Consistency in Dog Training: Why It Works

I get a fair number of these kind of guest post requests. A few are from other kink sites, which do actually have overlap with this one. Most are random spam emails that are clearly the result of dumb algorithms. This is clearly the latter case, but it’s also the first one that is both entirely unrelated and yet weirdly appropriate. I’m fairly certain Sarah doesn’t want to write about training a human puppy, or the importance of consistency in slave training, yet I was strongly tempted to reply with a few suggested kinky topics for her to work with. After all – when is it appropriate to give up on your human puppy and call a professional domme in? Should you rub their noses in it? Is it ever appropriate to spank them with a newspaper? How do you stop inappropriate leg humping? And is crueler to use a chastity cage or simply neuter them?

The Princess and the Piercing

I’m safely back in Seattle after my San Francisco trip. I had an amazing session with Domina Yuki just a couple of hours before flying back, and I’ll hopefully have some pictures to share from that in a coming post. I never particularly enjoy flying these days, but relaxing with a G&T while basking in post-session endorphin wash is certainly one of the better way to do it.

One of the activities I enjoyed this trip, with both Mistress Chloe and Domina Yuki, was piercing, a statement which allows me to oh so smoothly segue this post into the image below. Tense

I’m feeling tense. Not normally a good thing for someone on vacation, but these are special circumstances. I’ve did a couple of different sessions on my first two days in town. One with Mistress Chloe and one with Domina Yuki. Both were a lot of fun – I even featured on Mistress Chloe’s twitter feed – but both also left my somewhat on edge, if you get my drift. I’m also on scout’s honor not to take matters into my own hands. So while my bruises may be slowly fading, my sexual stress levels aren’t.

Matters haven’t been helped by the hot weather in SF, which means everyone is out wearing skimpy summer clothes. I’m trying not to temporarily turn into one of those men who instinctively twist their neck to watch an attractive woman go past. I think the world is already probably over quota on middle aged male letches, and doesn’t need me to add to it.

Heatwave

It’s about a bajillion degrees in San Francisco right now. Which seems the perfect excuse to feature this slightly strange but amusing summer themed shot from Mistress Iris. She’s definitely someone who enjoys exploring more unusual themes for her image galleries, as I’ve covered in the past. This is actually a ‘behind the scenes’ image, taken from her twitter feed. I wouldn’t put inflatable pool toys too high on my list of fetishes, but dommes in latex having fun is definitely a top 5 contender.

When Worlds Collide

Yesterday was one of my typically hedonistic vacation days. The afternoon featured kinky fun with a talented domme. The evening featured a big meal with many wines. Champagne consumption was a common element to both, although the vintage, temperature and volume varied considerably between the two.

The part of the evening that really made me stop and smile wasn’t the French bubbles, but a white Spanish Rioja that strongly reminded me of what I’d been drinking earlier that day. I’m not saying it tasted like pee but, to use a pretentious wine tasting term, it had many similar notes. There were tannins, which gave a slightly tea like taste, some oxidization, a little herbaceousness and a touch of underlying bitterness. It actually paired great with the fish dish that accompanied it, and I resisted the urge to tell the server what I was smiling about. She probably wouldn’t have taken it as a compliment.

It speaks to the quality of the dommes diet that I could make such a comparison. Probably best not to start setting up a bottling plant just yet however. I’m guessing pee doesn’t take to aging the same way wine does.

The photo called Leo’s Fantasy caused a national stir in liberal Holland when the Groninger Museum — in a simultaneous presentation of this series — chose the picture of girl peeing into the man’s mouth for its poster, and wanted to put it on the tram. Church groups protested, and the courts first said it wasn’t obscene, and then said it was.

Hard to imagine an American museum thinking they could get away with this image on a NYC subway poster. Conservative groups over here would go insane.

Off on my travels

I’m taking off to San Francisco for a vacation. As is usual for my trips, good food and kinky fun is the plan of record. Like I did for LA earlier this year, I’m going to try playing with someone I know well and someone new. I figure that’s a good way to simultaneously broaden my experiences while also building on past relationships. Although, after getting beaten up multiple times in the space of a few days, my body might not be a fan of my plan.

Normally at this point I’d offer pre-apologies for a potential lack of blogging. But quite frankly, given my busy recent life and slack blogging, a vacation might actually give me chance to write more than usual. We’ll see how that works out.

I’ll leave you with an image that I like, but I have absolutely no context for. I originally assumed it was from a fashion shoot, but nothing like that showed up on an image search. I believe it’s the actress Gwendoline Christie, but exactly why she’s decided to grab this gentleman by the face, I’ve no idea.

Knees and Elbows

What do you think is the least fetishized part of the body? It’s a question that this image got me thinking about and, if I had to hazard I’d guess, I’d go with knees and elbows. Those joints really don’t get much love.

Obviously things like breasts, legs and buttocks are widely fetishized even in mainstream sexuality. Feet, lips and armpits pop up fairly regularly in kinky porn. I’ve personally got a bit of thing for long hair, and I know that’s another common kink. Yet, despite a vast amount of wasted time on the internet, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any elbow or knee porn. It obviously must exist because internet porn is much like the multiverse – if it’s a physical possibility then it will exist. And it it’s not a physical possibility, then it’ll exist in erotic fiction. But knees and elbows must be a very well hidden niche interest.

I’m afraid I don’t have an original attribution for this. I’d guess it’s actually from a sequence of boot, leg or foot porn that just happened to have an image where he’s licking the knee. But maybe I’m wrong, and there’s a thriving knee licking community out there that this was targeted at.

Shibari with a Difference

The large majority of shoots featuring fancy Shibari suspension bondage also feature lithe young Asian women. I’m certainly not going to start complaining about those kind of shoots, but it is nice to see one with a different kind of model. The ropework is obviously impressive, but so is his ability to pull off this position. I think I’ll need several more years of yoga before I can take a shot at something similar.

The safeword is ‘lawyer’

Via the Detroit News comes this story of a domme called Temptress Nirvana facing prison time for blackmail. It’s hard to tell if this was a fin domme scene gone very badly wrong, a straight out extortion attempt or something in-between. The article seems to rely almost entirely on the police report, which is certainly damming, but hardly a trustworthy and unbiased source. The domme’s twitter feed looks like a lot of similar ones from other fin dommes. i.e. Lots of selfies, suggestions to send money and reports of cash gifts.

Whatever the details of this particular case, I can’t help thinking that this might be the kind of thing we see a lot more of in coming years. For one, it typically seems to involve horny older men with a humiliation and blackmail fetish talking to young and attractive but inexperienced women who want money. That seems like a combination primed for disaster. I’m sure there are some highly skilled and trustworth fin dommes out there but, like every area in life, the bad always outnumber the good.

The other things that makes me think this’ll be a repeating storyline is changing demographics. Fetishes are said to develop when people are children or adolescents. Most of today’s middle-aged men with money and blackmail fetishes will not have grown up with the internet. The generation that follows them will have. They’ll have experienced formative events involving social media, and I have to think that’ll play into what kinks are popular in the years to come. If doing online blackmail scenes becomes increasingly popular, then it’s inevitable there will be more spinning out control and ending up in court.

From a personal perspective, I don’t need help from someone like Temptress Nirvana to spend my money. Most of it has a very brief and passing relationship with my bank account at the best of times.
