The Things

Here’s a fun music video featuring artists I’ve never heard of (Sharam Jey and Tommie Sunshine), created by a write and director (Dan Brophy) I’ve no idea about. So I can’t give much background context. However, it is full of hot models of both sexes in underwear and lots of light femdom shenanigans. Which is definitely a plus. The aforementioned Dan Brophy claims it was loosely inspired by the Italian film Salo. I can only assume he saw a different Salo to the one I did, because this is about as closely related as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is to SpongeBob SquarePants.

Intense Pegging

I’ve no idea how to embed a tumblr video into a blog post, so I’ll just have to provide this lame link to a hot pegging video and rely on you, my treasured reader, to follow it. There are all sorts of ‘intense’ pegging videos online – with dommes sporting enormous dildos and dominating the hell out of their hapless submissives. This isn’t one of those. For me intensity in pegging comes from the sensuality and the connection formed. Two people deep in an intimate moment. This video might be from a porn shot, but it has a lot more of that sensuality and intimacy than I normally see.

Given my lack of embedding mojo, I needed some other eye candy for this post, so here’s a sexy pegging artwork. It’s not the same vibe as the video, but I like it all the same.

Damiana Chi on Buzzfeed

Buzzfeed generally produces a fair amount of dreck, but this video featuring a day in the life of Damiana Chi is pretty good (Facebook version here). Produced by Tania Safi, its features Damiana Chi, her sister Jezebel Chi and a variety of their submissives and slaves. I particularly liked Max and Roxy, whose blissed out happy sub expressions mirror the way I feel when I play.

Pulling hair with Kate McKinnon

Continuing the movie theme from the previous post, this video features porn legend Nina Hartley and star of the new Ghostbusters film, Kate McKinnon. It’s a very sexy and fun clip, with Nina using Kate to demonstrate the right way to pull hair. I think it’d be safe to say that Kate enjoyed being the demo bottom. Cavalry Charge

I’m really not sure what this video is about. There are attractive ladies, pony boys, fetish gear, jousting and a beach. I like it. I just don’t know why it was created. Although maybe it isn’t necessary to have a reason to exist when that kind of subject matter is involved. We should be thankful that someone felt the need to record it.

I particularly liked the fact that it wasn’t filmed on a private beach. If you look in the background you can see random tourists sunbathing and looking on. I always find beaches pretty boring, but this group of people showing up would certainly liven the experience up.

Ruining is all the fun

The Duke of Burgundy

As far as film titles go, The Duke of Burgundy isn’t an obvious one to use for a period piece movie focusing on a lesbian D/s relationship. It is also rare to see this kind of opening statement in a mainstream newspaper’s film review…

While it might be unusual, the majority of the reviews seem to love it. There’s that one in the Guardian, another in the Austin Chronicle and this one in the IndieWire. From their descriptions it seems to be a movie that really has an understanding of the dynamics of BDSM and some of inherent contradictions in a Dom/Sub relationship.

It’s not released until October 10th, but I’ll certainly be looking out for it after that. In the meantime it gives me an excuse to feature a fun vintage shot. These two ladies seem to be enjoying both nautical dress-up and spanking.

The million eyes of Sumuru

Based on its imdb page, the million eyes of Sumuru was a pretty terrible movie. Despite that, I have a soft spot for these kind of cheesy 60’s exploitation flicks. They’re impossible to defend on an artistic, cultural or political level, yet hard for me to resist when I stumble across them late at night with a drink in my hand. I love the over-the-top poster below, and I’m guessing that a lot of my readers might enjoy this clip from the movie.

Defined Lines

I featured a video parodying Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines last summer. It turned out to be a song and video ripe for parody, with even Weird Al getting in on the act. I recently stumbled on another particularly excellent example, that I’m sure my readers will enjoy. It’s called Defined Lines and is by the Law Revue group. To give you an idea of the theme let me quote some lyrics – “Let me emasculate you, because your precious dick can’t beat my vibrator.” Amazingly it even got briefly pulled from youtube for inappropriate content, which boggles the mind given some of the things to be found there.

Admittedly I’m about 12 months late bringing you this link, but hopefully it’ll be new to some of my readers. There are leashes, clingfilm bondage, scantily clad guys, forceful women and pointed lyrics. In other words, it’s all sorts of good things.

DomCon LA

Another day, another post, another movie. This one is a little different to the last two, as it’s just a short clip taken at DomCon in LA this year. It’s a time lapse movie showing around 70 dommes assembling for a group photograph, put together by Alice in BondageLand. I thought it was kind of fun, particularly if you know enough faces to play spot the domme.
