The beauty of dominant women
This image – sourced via Madam Is All tumblr – looks like it could have been a sketch from the Monty Python crew. They always had a penchant for playing Northerners in flat caps and pulling out old fashioned frocks and wigs for their female characters. There’s more than a touch of Michael Palin as Mr Gumby in the man in the center.
I’m afraid I couldn’t find any background on it. Image searching suggests it’s from London in 2003 but nothing else. I’d guess it’s some sort of art project.
One final post on the recent Femdom Ball in London. Although I loved a lot of the photographs posted (see previous post) my favorite tweet wasn’t an image. It was a quote posted by the event organizer, the Nubian Matriarch.
I had a fun conversation with one of the security guards near the bar before leaving… I asked him if he’d had a good night. And he said “so let me ask you bruv, are the women paying the guys to be on the leashes…”
Ah, my sweet summer child. That’s sadly not the way it works bruv.
I’ll finish with this image from Sardax that features some appropriate leashing. I believe this was donated by Sardax as one of the prizes at the ball (source here).
While I might not be into organized matriarchal societies crossed with femdom kinky fun (as discussed in yesterday’s post), I do recognize it as a button pushing fantasy for some. Probably the most well known example of it was the Other World Kingdom, more commonly known as OWK. Although it eventually closed down in 2008, it did run successfully for over a decade, attracting a wide variety of dommes and slaves over that period. This old post of mine has some interesting links on it for those curious about the background story. Mistress Troy of NYC has also posted some thoughts and articles on it.
Sadly for OWK fans there has never been an obvious successor with the same kind of scope and vision. However, some femdom organizations have tried to capture the spirit of OWK, with one of the most recent being The Order of Indomitus. Based on their FAQ and this article it seems like they’ve captured the outdoor play, multi-mistress and immersive femdom fantasy environment that OWK targeted.
Every woman brings something different to the event. 100% of your time is being spent in a non-stop femdom environment with a small undertone of fear, a bit of laughs, a certain amount of comfort, a certain amount of unknown, and depending on what turns you on, a dash to an over-dose of eroticism.
It’s not really my thing, but for anyone out there who really regrets never visiting OWK, it might well be worth checking out.

After the previous post’s surreal subject matter, I now bring you a post with a surreal image. This is from the Rinryu site, and I have absolutely no idea what it’s about. There is a maid, a butler, a pair of ‘schoolgirls’, a guy in a horses head (but lacking trousers) and another in what looks like a dog outfit. With their pose and the positioning on the steps it looks almost like an old fashioned household family photograph. Maybe it’s a pose for their annual Christmas card?
It feels like cheating to simply re-post stories from other blogs that I link to. After all, if you follow my blog roll, you’ll have already seen the original post. I fear the God’s of blogging may punish me with a corrupted database or a particularly efficient and annoying comment spammer. However, this particular story is too good not to re-post.
The story starts with a drawing by Anmo Night entitle ‘The Gag Shop’. The title is pretty self-explanatory for the drawing itself. That in turn inspired Sardax to create a sequence of images based around mistresses visiting the shop. In a cascade of inspiration particles (I blame the Hadron Collider) this in turn spurred a quartet of famous dommes to re-create his images in reality. You can read more on slave pj’s blog and on the blogs of the dommes involved: Madame Catarina, Mistress Akella, Mistress Ezada Sinn and Lady Victoria Valente.
I love the fact that people took the time and energy to put this together. Maybe we could use it to start a trend for re-creating more of Sardax’s work? That’d make for some fun scene negotiations. For my next session I wonder where I can find a glass coffin, a small castle and seven naked dwarfs?

I was amused by this article about an enterprising woman trying to get farm chores done on the cheap.
Masochists who responded to an advert by an Austrian woman seeking “submissive, well-to-do” men found themselves forced to do farm chores such as stacking wood in the nude or cutting the grass while wearing fetish masks.
Instead of the punishment they were expecting, the men were put to work as labourers around their mistress’s farm in north-eastern Austria, near the town of St. Pölten.
Unsurprisingly it turned out that doing real manual labor wasn’t quite as fun as the outdoor fetish frolics they were expecting. I’m not sure what kind of punishment she advertised, but stacking wood in the nude and cutting grass in a leather gimp mask sounds pretty punishing to me.
What’s particularly strange is that she ended up being charged with “illegal prostitution”. Since prostitution is the selling of sexual services, and the lack of kinky sex fun was precisely their complaint, I’d be intrigued to know what tortuous logic led to that charge. If she’d turned up in leather boots and hit them occasional, would that have made it “legal prostitution” ?
I’ll finish with a picture that is probably more in line with what the men were hoping for. It still looks like hard work, but I’m sure the pony gear, fetish outfits and whipping would have made them a lot happier.

Kink.com is running a porn script writing contest. The winner gets $2,000, a year’s free subscription and a chance to see their script on screen. A potentially unlimited number of runners-up get the same minus the cash prize. I’m sure at this point some of you are thinking “Wow! What a great competition” while the majority of you are thinking “They use scripts for these things?” Apparently so.
In many ways it seems to be a no lose scenario. They get free creative input from their fans and erotic fiction writers get a chance to see their ideas made flesh. However, I can’t help thinking they missed a trick here. I’ve read a lot of on-line comments, particularly from dominant women, that are very critical about the state of femdom pornography. There’s obviously a huge amount of content out there that plays exclusively to the submissive male and concentrates on the typical femdom cliches. Lots of snarling ice queens in leather and thigh-high boots swinging whips and flaunting enormous strap-ons. Personally I don’t mind a little stereotypical BDSM porn now and again, but I do recognize the imbalance in the market. A contest involving amateur content creation would seem a great opportunity to address that.
Presumably they’ll be judging the entrants against Kink.com’s own criteria for success. They’ll be looking for the script they wish they’d written themselves. Wouldn’t it be great to have another prize for an alternative style of script? Something that would appeal to the kinky people who they’re not currently reaching? Perhaps using a judging panel drawn from the broader BDSM community, rather than people who normally make porn. It need not even have a cash prize, just seeing the script made would probably be reward enough. And I’m sure it’d be great PR for Kink.com.
I might give the competition a shot anyway, whatever judging criteria they use. If any of my readers enter with success then let me know. I’d love to feature an image from the eventual shoot. I always enjoy coming across obscure but fun drawings like this.The internet is full of talented amateurs writing stories, posting photographs, creating blogs, etc. But for some reason I find artwork particularly appealing. Seeing talent in someone else is always pleasurable, and artwork is a very immediate way to demonstrate it. There’s a quick hit of “Oh that’s hot, I like that” quickly followed by “And somebody out there created this from nothing.”
I’m guessing this is a scene inspired by Namio Harukawa. He’s illustrated a lot of forniphilia images featuring men as bar stools – for example this one. However, I can see issues with this particular approach. For one thing, it doesn’t put the submissive in close contact with the dominant. I accept that this is a purely subjective view, but if I’m going to be objectified I like it to be a relatively intimate object. Or at least something with a degree of personal contact, even if it’s only feet. While this position may provide an interesting view for the submissive, it seems a little distant. However, more importantly, it seems fairly dangerous for the dominant. That cannot be a stable base for a stool. There’s a lot of pressure on a small area, and a rib cage isn’t what I’d call a smooth even surface. Let’s hope it didn’t end with a minature domme domino rally.

OWK has created a lot of high quality but fairly conventional femdom material over the years. That is if material from a micronation set in a 16th Century Czech Chateau dedicated to the idea of female supremacy can ever be regarded as conventional. Not many femdom sites have their own flag, coat of arms, motto and state hymn.
This image, on the other hand, must rank as one of their less conventional shots. There’s the usual naked slaves, leather outfits and whips. But rather than brandishing a crop and sneering at the camera, Madame Loreen (right) looks like she’s about to break into a spirited rendition of YMCA. And Mistress Christine (left) appears to be contemplating a switch from whipping the slave to whipping some sense into Loreen. Clearly she’s not a fan of that particular form of torture….
