Stylish puppy and Mistress

Continuing the puppy theme with a particularly fashionable and posed pair. Typical BDSM dog hoods are heavy on the BDSM and less of the dog aspect. This is clearly shooting for a much more realistic look. Personally I find it drifts a little bit into uncanny valley territory, but I have to admire the attention to detail.

Weirdly disturbing

This was meant to be a continuation of the dog theme from my previous post. I was looking for a fun puppy themed femdom shot. And while it does continue the dog theme, I find it more weirdly disturbing than fun.

Obviously punching and hitting are all fair game in a consensual BDSM scene. But punching or hitting dogs is horrible and evil. So maybe I’ve drunk too much wine tonight while cooking dinner, but this just seems kind of wrong. A rolled up newspaper might be OK, but a fist? No. Bad domme.

A dangerous game (and woof!)

This image contains many staples of femdom erotica. There’s bondage, breathplay, a naked man and a lady in stockings. The text is a little more poetic than the usual captions, but it’s hard to argue with the spirit of it given the noose around his neck. But what’s with the dog? Which artist thought that the perfect addition to an edgy bondage and breathplay scenario was a cute and fuzzy little dog? I kind of feel the image is part of a larger sequence that would explain what’s going on, but I’m afraid I’ve failed to track down any other context for this.

Miss Pearl has a thoughtful post on the way kink.com treats femdom as a separate thing from BDSM in general. It raises an interesting point that potentially reflects a lot of underlying assumptions people hold about femdom.

Now with the thoughtfulness for the day contracted out to Miss Pearl, allow me to take conversation down several notches and tackle a silly pet peeve of mine on kink.com – makeup. Specifically, the makeup used on the dommes. It’s like they’ve borrowed Homer’s makeup shotgun. I realize this is probably not the biggest problem facing femdom erotica, but what the hell, I feel the urge to vent.

For example, consider Mistress Madeline, who looks stunning in shots like this and this. So what would possess Divine Bitches to go with this look? Mistress T is another great example. She has an amazing classical natural beauty, as demonstrated in this kind of shot. So why the harsh makeup of the shots below? I want my domme to be severe when waving her whip, not when brandishing her lippy.

I definitely need a long, slow root canal.

Here’s an unusual scene – dental torture. Mouths and gags show up all the time in BDSM imagery and play, but it’s rare to see an explicit dental scene. Even Whitehead gags, which crop up fairly often and were originally designed for dental work, are rarely used in their original context. In contrast, regular non-dental medical scenes are a fixture of both play and BDSM porn. It’s interesting to speculate why that difference exists.

One answer might be simple practicality. It’s fairly easy to learn to do basic medical play and not risk significant damage. Things like needle play, enemas, plaster casts and suturing can be done for real, provided the domme has done the relevant training. With dental work it’s hard to imagine what basic stuff could be done, outside of straight play acting. Nobody should be drilling teeth or poking gums without serious certificates on their wall.

The other answer might be a more psychological one. In hospitals we feel more out of control, where in dental surgeries we just feel uncomfortable. If we’re sick or even just being tested for something, the work of doctors and nurses seems somewhat unfathomable. They tell us they need to do some thing and we have to accept it and lie back. Where with dentists, we’re typically very aware of what they’re doing. Drilling and scraping teeth seems necessary, but boring. From a psychological perspective a dental procedure doesn’t feel like giving up control to me, despite the obviously vulnerable position, it just feels like a unpleasant chore.

Dental-Femdom-11aThe watermark (assuming there was one) has annoyingly been cut off this image. I found it on the Femdom Times, but I’m afraid I don’t have an original attribution.

A little prick in the rump

At a quick glance this could be an image from a femdom pegging or a medical play porn scene. In fact it’s an advertisement for disposable one use syringes. You can see the full size version of it here.

The tag line is that ‘non-disposable syringes are the second biggest cause of HIV’, so I guess their pose is meant to allude to the biggest cause. Although that doesn’t make a lot of sense, as pegging is probably one of the safest forms of penetrative sex you can have. I’m also not sure what the bowl of apples is about, unless it’s another allusion to sex and sinful temptation. Still, whatever the confused philosophy, I’m certainly a fan of advertisements featuring this kind of medical scene.

The flames are all gone, but the pain lingers on.

I’m always a fan of doing duos or trios of associated posts. Normally they’re a common femdom theme, but this time I ran with a different approach based on the titles and the lyrics of a certain famous British band.

Technically in this image the flames are clearly not all gone, but I’ll give myself a pass, as I suspect the pain would definitely linger on. She’s certainly focused on pouring the heat onto a particularly delicate area.

HotWaxThis is by the artist Akira Kito.

For anyone confused on the titles for the past three posts I give you: Breathe, Hey You and Goodbye Blue Sky.

No matter how he tried, He could not break free.

I have to love a domme who uses the tagline – “Putting the fun back into femdom“. This is from a scene earlier this year, featuring Mistress Alice with a custom built bondage rig, a rubber catsuit and a voice activated tens unit. No matter how much she teases him, I doubt he’s going to be able to get free of that rig.

Bernard Montorgueil

Regular readers will know that I always try and attribute artwork appropriately and, where possibly, provide some background on the artist. However, when it comes to researching these things, I’m rank amateur compared to Bacchus over at ErosBlog. He’s been looking into one of the more obscure femdom artists – Bernard Montorgueil. I’ve had a short section on him in my artwork pages for years but this recent post by Bacchus is far more detailed. Admittedly, he hasn’t surfaced any new personal details on the artist, but it is an interesting dig through the history of his artwork and the snippets that have surfaced online over the years.

I was amazed to discover that four of his original books recently sold for almost $47,000 at auction. Apparently, in the words of famous auctioneers Christies, they showed signs of ‘light soiling’. I hope for the sake of the new owner that was down to storage issues and not over exuberance by a previous femdom fan.

Bernard MontorgueilI found this example of his work in this extensive gallery.

Toys. So many toys.

I’m not sure it’s possible to own too many toys. That’d be like owning too many bottles or wine or too many Ferraris. However, it might be possible to own too many toys for the space currently available. That seems to be the point being approached in the scene below. When there’s barely room to fit the submissive in, then maybe it’s time to do some spring cleaning.

ToysBased on this page I believe this is a Mistress Zena. Unfortunately most of the links on that page are dead, making me think the space owners and Mistress Zena are no longer practicing.
