Little Gay Girls

I always enjoy the odd fetish artwork often found on old pulp erotic novels. From what I’ve read on the history of these things, there was often little connection between the title, the contents and the cover. The publisher would slap together whatever he thought would sell. In this particularly case the title and the artwork seem particularly badly matched. The four predatory female figures are clearly neither little nor young girls. I guess they could be gay but, if so, I’m not sure why they’d be dressed like that or focused on the hapless male. I’m guessing readers of these books probably weren’t looking for too much logic in their erotica.

Channeling the inner dominatrix

If you keep an eye out for BDSM articles in the press, you’ll quickly discover there are two common templates that pop up repeatedly. One is the latest gossip on the 50 shades of grey phenomena. The other features a model or actress pulling on something vaguely fetishistic and being described as channeling her inner dominatrix. It might only be a pair of leather boots or a black shiny dress, but inevitably a dominatrix will be being channeled.

The latest story to use this template features Cara Delevingne and Karl Lagerfeld. It’s a particularly annoying example thanks to the two different collars Cara is wearing. It doesn’t make any sense to couple an aggressive domme look with collars that are designed for attaching a leash to. It seems they just throw any vaguely fetishistic gear together without a thought for what it actually means. Which is particularly bad when you’re supposed to be a fashion designer and the meaning, look and utility of clothes is your stock in trade.

By way of a contrast I give you the image below. These women really seem to be getting the hang of their inner dominatrix, and not a hint of leather, latex or overpriced couture clothing in sight.

They say that problems come in threes. This image seems like a perfect illustration of that theory. I’m not sure exactly whose butt we’re looking at on the right, but it’s pretty clear he’s going to have three big incoming ‘problems’ pretty soon. Although they also say that every problem is also an opportunity. I can’t say I’d object to having to deal with these kind of opportunities.

A good reason to go swimming

Fans of Nicole Kidman and watersports (an odd but non-zero sized intersection) should look out for the movie The Paperboy, currently showing at the Cannes festival. According to Gawker there’s a scene featuring the aforementioned Ms Kidman pissing on Zac Efron. I don’t really know who that is, but it sounds like an intriguing thing to see. The context in the film for this watersports fun is a jellyfish sting, and the idea that urine can help reduce the pain. I’ve no idea if that’s true – there doesn’t seem much evidence for the theory –  but if nothing else it’d certainly provide a welcome distraction from the stings.

I’m assuming that the gentleman below got stung in the mouth. He’s lucky that these nice ladies were around to help out.

Inappropriate reactions

I was told tonight that my penis was having ‘an inappropriate reaction to pain.’ That’s not a statement you hear every day of the week, no matter how kinky you are. It was a tongue in cheek comment from Lydia after a lot of tiny but sharp wooden clips affixed to the said appendage had increased my arousal. It was a vicious circle. Quite literally vicious in this case. The more they hurt, the more aroused I got, and the more aroused I got, the more the skin was stretched and the more it hurt. Masochism can be very strange.

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your tolerance for scrawny naked English masochists) we didn’t get any photographs. So I was forced to hunt through my image collection and the tumblverse for something appropriate. You’d think that a combination of aroused male and pain inflicting dominant female would be an easy shot to find. After all, that sounds like a pretty fundamental part of femdom porn. It turns out to be far rarer than I’d expected. Lots of aroused guys in gay BDSM porn or solo male shots. A few aroused guys in more soft focus, blindfolds and fuzzy handcuffs type BDSM. Lots of pain and torture shots with a bunch of floppy dicks. But very little combining the two. I realize that as problems go this isn’t one likely to keep people awake at night, but it certainly surprised and temporarily stymied me.

In the end I decided to go with some art from Vernice61. You can always rely on him for a combination of dominant women, aroused males and painful torments. Of course that’s the beauty of artwork. It can always be exactly what the artist wants it to be.

Dirty dirty boy

Here’s a little artwork I came across on my random ramblings through Japanese BDSM blogs. I believe the artist is Haru Kano and he has a blog featuring his femdom and fetish artwork. There’s also a thread containing more of his work available at this image board. His style is quite distinctive and in some cases reminds me a little of Namio Harukawa. For example, this face sitting shot definitely puts me in mind of some of Namio’s work.

The image below of a slave getting a good wash and scrub down isn’t something that would normally appeal to me. I’m typically not a fan of humiliation type play. However, I do like his bound kneeling posture, and it’s very hard to not be taken with a trio of attractive aggressive Japanese nurses.

As I’ve posted here before, CFNM doesn’t do a huge amount for me. However, I know there are fans of it amongst my readers, and this struck me as one of the more entertaining examples of the genre I’d seen. I like the expressions on the women’s faces. The one in the middle has a big smile, while the one closest the camera looks like she’s taking it a lot more seriously. I hope he’s got a really good routine lined up to entertain them with, because this looks like it might be a tough crowd.

Added Vernice61 to Femdom Artwork

Vernice61 has featured on this site several times in the past, in posts like this one and this one. I thought it was time he had a permanent place in the artwork section, and here it is. I think fans of intense femdom artwork, featuring all manner of devilish torments, will appreciate his excellent drawings.

The example shown below is a particularly good example, with bondage, forced consumption, whips, cattle prods and nipple/cock stimulation all thrown into the the mix. Not to mention a nice hint of it being institutional torture.

Good day at the office

I spend most of my day discussing (aka arguing), brainstorming (aka incoherently arguing) and pontificating (aka arguing when you know you’re wrong) about the right way to build really big computing systems. In this kind of group design work submissive tendencies don’t tend to do well, and anyone who knows me only via work will assume I’m a dominant personality type. However, when I’m feeling frazzled and tired after a particularly passionate discussion, I often long to sneak away to get the crap beaten out of me. Pain can be like a holiday from your brain, and sometimes that’s exactly what I need.

It looks like the gentleman below got just that kind of holiday, and with six very attractive tour guides. As it transpires in other photographs, they appear to have had a plumbing problem with the women’s bathroom. This has forced them to rig up some sort of makeshift contraption as an alternative, with him as an integral component. As this second photograph shows it looks a little intimidating, but I’d take it in preference to swearing at powerpoint for an hour.
