This image continues the theme of heavy and elaborate bondage. Although in this case it seems possibly a little too elaborate. There’s a latex outfit, a tight hood, chains, cuffs, plastic wrap and some fairly intense CBT. All that seems like a fun time, but what’s with the stockings? Did they think it’d all be too pedestrian with throwing some cross dressing in there? I’m all for exploring and layering kinks, but how many can you really enjoy at any one time?

I’ve enjoyed two recent posts from Mistress Sidonia – Mansels in Distress Part 1 and Part 2. In general I find that there’s a lot more fancy bondage and interesting predicaments in M/f and M/m porn than in F/m. Probably that’s due to the fact that the first two tend to focus more on the submissive, where femdom porn often puts the dominant center stage. That’s not to say there’s not plenty of bondage in femdom material, it just often seems to be a means to an end, rather than the end itself.
Whatever the reason, it’s a pity, because heavy bondage can be hot to look at and experience. I’ve had some amazing and intense experiences with mummification, heavy leather sacks and vacuum beds over the years. Where activities like corporal and piercing are often about the dynamic between me and the dominant, heavy bondage can turn me inward and create a more reflective headspace.

It’s not femdom, but I thought this article on the composer Georg Friedrich Haas was interesting. On the surface it’s interesting just for the people and dynamic involved. At the meta level it’s interesting how it was covered in a very clear and non-sensational fashion by a mainstream newspaper.

I’m afraid my blogging might be a bit erratic for the next few weeks. I have contractors in to do some remodeling work on my place. Unfortunately our work habits don’t mesh all that well. The end result is a grouchy paltego with not much time to write at night before he falls asleep.
What I really need is a take charge project manager who can get things done in half the time and a quarter the volume. The lady below looks like she wouldn’t take any nonsense when it came to civilized working hours.

I have no goddamn clue what’s going on here. There’s a guy with his head in the table, some pegging action in his rear, and a random group of people eating lunch. I’ll finish the statue themed posts with some lovely art from Yumine Guo. Admittedly this is more of a candelabra than a statue, but the plinth and pose gives it a somewhat sculptural feel. From her tumblr post you can actually see the original inspiration, which is kind of fun. Oddly enough, it’s yet another lamp themed scene. What is it with being a lamp?

I thought that after years of writing this blog and hanging out on kinky sites, that I’d seen pretty much every kink there was. In hindsight that seems somewhat naive, given the complexity of human sexuality. For example, I’d never heard of a kink based on being a human statue, yet here we have it. Given I’ve featured people being lamps in the past, I guess being a statue isn’t so strange. If you’re into CFNM and mental bondage then it makes some sort of sense.
I used to think that cleaning up after hot wax play was the most annoying post-session chore, but this body paint is probably worse. At least he’s indoors and doesn’t have to worry about pigeons.
