Elizabeth

While I’m on the subject of great costumes, here’s a fabulous one of Elizabeth from the game Bioshock Infinite. It’s a cosplay rather than Halloween costume, but it’s still a great example of an elegant and sexy as hell costume that doesn’t rely on plunging necklines or skimpy outfits. The creator is LilSophie, who is clearly in a different costuming league compared to the average Halloween partygoer.

I’m actually taking a few days vacation over the Halloween weekend. I’m going to be in Las Vegas, where I’m expecting to see all manner of crazy outfits. Blogging may be a bit erratic, but I’ll do my best to keep posting. I’ve no particular plans, other than leaving the Seattle rain for tall drink on a Vegas patio, so I should be able to keep things ticking over here.

Dress up games

For some kinky people any night of the week is a good one to put on a fun costume and go to a party as another character. The rest of the world tends to reserve that kind of behavior for special occasions. In the US that means Halloween. Traditionally that’s the time for occult decorations, kids stuffing themselves with candy and articles debating or decrying how sexualized costumes are these days.

With the new Star Wars movie coming out this year, I’m expecting that’ll be a popular theme. In that line, my favorite really terrible costume to date is this one for Darth Vader. Clearly literally seconds of thought went into that design. They didn’t even bother to give her a light saber. By contrast, I think the outfit in the image below is brilliant. It’s sexy, grimy, accurate and she has a kick ass sparkly storm trooper helmet. Plus, they’ve got a vacuum bed for the carbonite frozen Hans Solo. Admittedly, that’s probably hard to take to a party, but it’d work great if you were hosting.

I’d love to know where this is from, but reverse image searching gives me absolutely nothing. If anyone can help me attribute it, then please leave a comment.

Honeymoon

Here’s a final image to finish my quartet of anal themed posts. I think it’s designed to be a wedding themed shot. The white dildo and harness seem well coordinated with the dress.

I’ve been surprised by the amount of wedding related porn I’ve stumbled across in recent years. It doesn’t do much for me, but it’s clearly a thing. I guess it toys with the virginity/purity/perfect moment of the wedding night. Anytime there’s a strong societal convention, there’s going to be someone with a kink that plays off it.

In this particular case I picked it just because it’s just a cute image. Although I do love the potential symmetry of using a strap-on on a wedding night. Most femdom porn focuses on the bride fucking the groom, but why not go both ways? What could be a better start to a marriage than each person fucking the other?

Here’s another pair of great expressions to follow-up my previous post. Celebrating scoring

I stumbled across this image yesterday while looking for something to feature with the pegging article. Vintage BDSM prints?

One of the dommes I’ve played with in recent years has posed a question which, for the moment, has me stumped. She’s decorating a space and wondered where she could buy vintage BDSM prints or photographs. She’s looking for something more artist than pornographic, although of course what was porn in the last century can be art in the next! I’ve no shortage of sources for these kind of images online, but I’m not exactly sure where you can buy high quality prints to hang on the wall. Can anyone out there help?

Obviously for contemporary commissioned artwork I’d recommend Sardax. For a random grab bag of who knows what you’ll get, there’s always ebay. But I’m unaware of a site specializing in vintage BDSM prints. It’s also a hard thing to search for, as porn tends to dominate the results. The best I could find was this, which offers modern prints but nothing vintage. So does anyone have any pointers to help out? Feel free to leave a comment or email me.

I’m not sure if the above image is the kind of thing this lady is searching for but, as an example of vintage artwork with a kinky twist, I like it.

Eskimo Kiss

My mother taught me that rubbing noses together was how Eskimo’s kissed. Of course, as you might have guessed, that turns out to be a Western distortion of a specific type of Inuit greeting known as the kunik. Whatever the name and derivation of the act, I’ve always found it a particularly cute and expressive one. It’s hard to be serious when squashing noses together. I therefore particularly enjoyed this image. They look like a couple having fun.

Hobbit Dragon Artwork

A simple post of femdom artwork is all I have for you today. The style reminds me (in a good way) of the illustrations in 70’s sex manuals. The artist presumably goes under the handle hobbit dragon, but I’m not aware of other drawings by him or her. There’s a tumble here, but it currently has no posts.
