It’s a lovely picture although I think the fact that his wrists are tied rather dilutes the “normal domestic scene” vibe.
I know what you mean, however, in fairness it is regular looking kind of clothesline rope. It definitely spoil the shot for me if they were using leather cuffs or something similar.
