I’ve been indulging in a lot of bondage fun over the last few days in NYC. Many photos were taken and will be posted soon. Nothing I did looks quite like this however. The rigging work is by Mistress Chiaki and – via this tweet – she called the position the Meditating Octopus.
It’s an amazing bondage setup and a good name. Although I have to say the image puts me more in mind of Darth Vader after a bad allergic reaction. Maybe an alternative name might be “Suspended Vader in desperate need of EpiPen.”
Some of us more mature members might see this as the “Mekon” arch-enemy of a comic character of the time Dan Dare ! Printed comics, long before Star Wars.

Ha! Wrong color but definitely the right kind of forehead! The Mekon character is buried somewhere in my memories, although not sure how, as Dan Dare is definitely before my time. Maybe an 80’s videogame?
