I always enjoy when experienced pro-dommes post past images from earlier phases of their careers. It can be fascinating to see the evolution in their style, clothes and play spaces.
If you share my interest then I’d recommend browsing Domina M’s recent tweets. She’s been sharing some lovely shots from her 20+ year career. Regularly browsers of femdom material will probably recognize a number of them, as her work with Will Santillo (examples here and here) has been widely reposted. She’s also written about some of those early shoots here.
The image I’ve chosen below is a very early one from 2001 (tweeted here). It actually involves two legendary dommes. Obviously that’s Domina M herself in the shot, with her wardrobe and dungeon sourced from her mentor, Simone Justice.

I have a few pictures of my Mistress which are so old they were taken with a polaroid camera. I’m not sure of the exact date but they are probably from the mid nineties. Obviously she looks younger but she really hasn’t changed much whereas I have put on at least 40 lbs. . Younger people don’t realise how difficult it was to take kinky pictures before the introduction of digital cameras which is why I don’t have many snaps from that era but that does mean I treasure them more.
It’s funny to think back to a time where you had a limited number of shots per film. And – for the none polaroid versions – you had to send them away and wait days to see if any of the shots worked out. Amazing shift in a just a couple of decades.
I can definitely understand why you’d treasure those kind of shots. Lovely to have them. I wouldn’t want to go back to the old days, but drowning in content today does have it’s downsides.
