Vintage Pegging

I’m continuing my theme of vintage femdom imagery with another unusual image. This time it’s not the outfits or setting which are odd – they look pretty standard for 70’s kinky porn – but the activity. Whips, leather outfits and bad bondage are common in vintage shots, but you almost never find pegging scenes like this one. Until the last decade or so it was very risky in the US to combine sex with BDSM in pornography and anal penetration fell under that categorization. I’d therefore guess that this is from a European publication. Of course they wouldn’t have called it pegging at the time – that term wasn’t coined until Dan Savage came along in 2001.

Updated: Bacchus of ErosBlog added an amazing comment with some detailed research on this image. It looks like it came from Candy Films, a forerunner of Color Climax Corporation. Almost certainly it was published in the early 70’s, and probably in a magazine called Man Servant.

  1. Tried to leave this comment the other night when I was drunkenly searching your mystery images, but it got bounced by your security module. Kept it to make a post with instead, but I haven’t gotten around to doing that either. I just saw that you fixed your security module, so let’s try again.

I’m sorry to keep doing this to you, but a challenge like this is catnip to me.

When I saw that I said to myself “That’s absolutely GOT to be Color Climax Corporation from Copenhagen.” Good instinct, but apparently not literally true … not quite.

First, for fun, another photo from the same shoot, much tamer:

These photos *appear* to be from a 1974 magazine-of-a-film called Man-Servant, published by Candy Films of Copenhagen, said by this source to have been the predecessors of Color Climax Corporation:

That cover thumb is very small and grainy, and the guy is wearing a different shirt, but the ladies look correct and correctly attired. However, we can’t quite see if the leather bustier (? – I dunno my lingerie names well enough) is of the same shiny patent material from the subject photo.

There’s another magazine-and-film from the same era and publisher called “Enslaved By Women”.

It is also a candidate for the source of the pegging photo, but in all of the photos I can find attributable to that magazine, one woman is wearing the same bustier from Man Servant with the sequined/shiny panels:

And the other one is wearing this floral/paisley thing:

There’s less to be found from Man Servant, so I couldn’t absolutely confirm that one of the dominas was wearing the shiny patent bustier in that magazine. Too, there’s always the possibility of yet a different magazine/film/cabinet-card set from the same publisher with shared wardrobe items. But I’ve made myself confident the photo comes from Candy Films.

Hope this late-night entertainment of mine also amuses you!

    1. Wow! What a comment. Thanks Bacchus. I’m endlessly impressed by your dedication to tracking down obscure porn imagery. I’m also happy that I guessed right with this as being 70’s European porn.

The Man Servant magazine does look right for the two women. It’s a bit fuzzy but the outfits and their appearance do line up. However, the couch and his outfit don’t quite match. As you suggest, it’s probably a case where they shot a bunch of sequences in slightly different time/places with the same set of people and then released them in different editions of the magazine. Once you had the outfits and the willing participants in those days, you wanted to make maximum use of them!

Thanks again for the research. If there’s ever a porn curator at the Library of Congress, you’d be a shoe in 🙂 In the meantime, I’ll update the post with the Candy Film info.

      Cheers,
      -paltego
