Maybe you need to use larger diameter sounds to impart some pain. 😉 I have only used smaller ones to this point.
Actually I’m told you have to be pretty careful using larger sounds. There are a whole bunch of small sphincter like muscles down the urethra and forcing something in can cause all sorts of problems for them. I think the idea is always to let the weight of the sound slide it in naturally. If it doesn’t go in naturally then don’t force it. Although I’m guessing that using progressively larger sounds over time would stretch things and allow bigger insertions.
