There are always going to be some people who have a natural ability to push your internal sexual hot buttons. I don’t meant that in an exclusionary way, in the way that some men will insist on only dating women with certain physical attributes (blonde hair or big breasts or whatever). If there’s a woman interested enough in me to consider some naked shenanigans, then far be it from me to start throwing up roadblocks in her path. But being open to alternatives doesn’t mean that all alternatives all equal. Some people can hit your libido where it hurts with just a glance. For me, that group of people would definitely include Mistress Natsukiss.
One of the things that I love about her videos and images is the very gleeful sadism that comes through. She’s not a smiling domme doing a little light bondage and sensual teasing. She’s not an ice queen, viciously beating her submissives with a snarl. Instead she inflicts some really serious sadistic punishment with a happy joyful attitude. That’s a wonderful combination.
One of my favorite scenes I have of hers involves a very heavy whipping with a single-tail. The submissive is trying to remain in position on the ground on all fours, but is losing focus with the strength of the repeated strikes. Each time he slumps she repeatedly taps her foot on the floor, and he slowly pulls himself back into the proper stance. From his viewpoint he can only see her foot, and he responds like a trained animal. It’s as if she’s giving him something of her to focus on. She just keeps smiling and whipping, bringing him obediently back into line with each stamp of the heel.

Mistress Natsuskiss is quite a controversial figure for both her sadism and her methods of delivery.
There are two lengthy clips doing the rounds on free sites that show an extreme protracted session of whipping that has caused consternation and outrage on sites such as Informed Consent. Most notably the unrelenting nature, ( described as ‘a car crash I could not watch any further’ by one Professional Domme) and the fact She always allows the bulwhip to curl around the slave – a practise that is not described by the vast majority of comentators on that and other sites as being as Safe Sane or Consensual. Renal damage is not considered sexy nor the almost total flaying of flesh and the psychological damage that may be inflicted thereafter. Only Sardax came to Her defence in this matter. However, if we all aspire to live and work towards a vision of a world of total ‘Sardaxian’ Female Supremacy ( and who wouldn’t)then perhaps we have to accept a real world practitioner starting point. Just wondered what others thought?

I’ll start by saying that much as I love Sardax, he’s probably my favorite femdom artist, I’m not sure I’d want to live in the world he draws! It’d be a nice place to visit, but I don’t think I’d survive there for too long. Interesting to note that Sardax has actually draw some commissioned pictures of Natsukiss (they’re on her site), so it’s not surprising he’d know of her.

I have no issues with the degree of severity shown. It is very heavy, but I’ve seen a lot of equally heavy whipping and caning films from lots of other sources, so this doesn’t seem completely crazy. He’s not even bleeding too much. Until I start hearing of men been kidnapped and forced to perform I’m not going to worry too much about that aspect 🙂
The issue of the curling whip and possible damage to the kidneys is an interesting and more problematic one. It’s probably worth a post on its own. There seems to be a lots of people saying not to do it, but it’s hard to track down solid medical evidence around the issue. That’s probably not too surprising, given the niche we’re talking about. It seems to be the kind of issue that RACK was created for instead of SSC.

Thanks paltego, I had seen this video but it was actually another one that was posted on IC but very similar with the slave suspended(?) either way, the issue was that how much permanent damage may this inflict? I don’t know if any medical studies have ever been undertaken in this field ( apart from the chapter in Jeremy Paxmans excellent book ‘The English’ where he refers to the chap who had the ‘bottom transplant’ due to many years of prolonged caning). I always wondered if filming scenes like these ever had attendant medical staff? The slave in Natsuskiss film does not appear to me to be a ‘hardened veteran’ and it does make me wonder if he really knew what he was letting himself in for. Compare say with Mistress Vixen in the UK some of her regulars are clearly more seasoned and have the proud rumps and scars to prove it. Also long term incarcertion in places like OWK – did anyone ever have a heart attack or serious medical condition as a result of their activities? Will we ever know? It is interesting that on the Cruel Amazons site kidneys are often protected with padding like in judicial canings in the far East. As you say – perhaps a whole subject in itself.

I know that hanging just from the wrists is a problem, as there are small bones and soft tissues that can get damaged. However, in the the video he’s suspended by both feet and hands, so the load should be spread. When it’s just the wrists he has his feet on the floor.
As for the kidney damage risk, I’d assume (although I have no medical knowledge at all) that it’d very much depend on the implement used. The judicial canings are done with a very heavy thick cane, and potentially could do really deep damage. So protection makes sense when doing a heavy caning. In single tail on the other hand is all surface. Used incorrectly they’ll certain strip skin off, but it’s hard to imagine the force penetrating deep enough to hurt an organ. A flogger I guess is somewhere between the two. They can be heavy, it sometimes feels like being slapped or punched when hit with them, but they’re not as a penetrating or focused as solid cane. But, as you say, it’s not an area with any detailed medical studies, or at least none that I’ve found.
Obviously I’ve zero knowledge of the background to the video, but personally I’d be amazed if they weren’t experienced masochists. I don’t think you’d want to go to all the trouble to hire a camera man, get the lighting and scene set up, climb into your fetish gear, and then have the guy use his safeword after the first few seconds! If you take a look in her galleries there’s actually some behind the scene shots from some of her movies (although not these particularly ones). There’s clearly enough of a crew and investment involved that you’d want to make sure you could get the scenes you wanted. There are also a lot of shots from the public performances she’s done. As Sardax said, she’s a well known performer, so it’s again hard for me to imagine the guy didn’t know what the deal was.
I’ve certainly heard plenty of stories of people ending up in the ER as a result of play that’s gone wrong. However, I’ve never heard of anyone having medical staff on hand just in case. Although there was this thread on Max Fisch where somebody got very lucky at a play party when one of the people turned out to be a doctor and caught a major issue:

Two related things come to mind concerning Miss Natsuki:
1: There seem to be many films available of teenage Japanese girls enjoying beating a Japanese man. Why so many and why so cheerful? I doubt if many Amereican or British teenage girls would be eager to whip a young man, still less laugh about it.
2:As well as the many instances of Miss Natsuki gleefully ” doing her thing” there are many pictures of a gentle, compassionate woman encouraging her subject. Do saddism and gentle traditionally feminine caring qualities usually combine in one person?
