If you’re into heavy bondage and sensory deprivation then you might want to check out this twitter post and accompanying site post on a scene featuring mummification and a padded isolation box.
The first hour was the hardest. My body was completely immobilized, and the sensory deprivation was intense. But as time passed, I began to drift. The isolation box muffled all sounds, and the tight sleep sack along with the belts limited all movement. My mind started to wander, floating away from the physical sensations and into a calm, meditative state.
In total he spent 4 hours totally immobilized and isolated from the world. That’s both hot and scary all that same time. I doubt my claustrophobia would let me indulge in such a severe set-up, but it’d be interesting to try some elements of it.
