In theory this might make a good candidate for my occasional ‘Fetish or Fashion?‘ series. Unfortunately, I’ve no idea which of those it is. I found it on tumblr and reverse image search has (as usual these days) failed me. Google’s stupid AI system claimed the man was Kevin Costner at the Golden Globes, so that’s clearly a few billion dollars well spent there.
Personally, I’d guess fashion. It strikes me as the kind of thing someone like Helmut Newton might shoot for a fashion magazine, but I’ve no way of telling for sure. He’s wearing a tuxedo but with a black tie rather than a bow tie, so that seems like a bit of a fashion faux pas. Perhaps that’s why she has tied him down. Is she explaining how to dress properly for a formal event?
