I just realized that this blog has reached its 15 year anniversary. In fact it reached it back in September and I totally missed it. Happy belated anniversary to me and it.
Looking back to a post I made for the 10 year milestone, I’m amused to note that I was hoping to be retired by now and have freed up time for more personal projects. Unfortunately, shortly after writing that post, I did pretty much the opposite of retiring and joined an early stage tech startup. Not a move I’d recommend for anyone looking to wind down their work life. That has really killed my free time for the last few years and definitely impacted my blogging. Hopefully, between now and the 20 year version of this post, I can actually retire and reclaim some time for kink, writing and travel. Future me – don’t fuck this up.
An anniversary is typically celebrated with cake and candles. I don’t have any cake to share, but here’s some candles. Luckily for the gentleman concerned, not 15 of them.

Sadly I don’t have the original source for this image. Image search tells me it’s pretty old – at least 9 years. There is a Marina B. photographer online, but her work seems far more family oriented than this. If anyone has an attribution then please let me know via a comment.
Congratulations, Paltego, on fifteen wonderfully mis-spent years celebrating our perversity! Your femdom intersection of the information superhighway remains as important as ever… my stats say it’s second only to a site called Gongle or something like that.
Unlike certain forgetful bloggers, I never forget my blog’s anniversary, despite the limitations of my male brain – because I have Femdom Resource to remind me a few months ahead! Contemplating the Divine turns 15 at the end of January… still in a distinctly brattish, sulky teenage phase, but I’m sure that’s nothing that can’t be sorted out with a firm enough hand.
I hope the couple in your photo take time to enjoy the occasion, sitting there late into the evening as darkness closes in, the candles slowly melting down and flickering out, one by one. That should be memorable for them both.
Best wishes for the next five, ten and fifteen years. Perhaps you should arrange for someone from a more competent gender to help you not to forget future anniversaries – I’m sure there are many ladies who would be only too happy to think up innovative and effective ways of bringing the point home.
Best wishes
Servitor
Wow – 15 years as well!?. While you might still be in a brattish teenage phase, in blogging years we’re both heading into OAP territory. If only age had brought us wisdom…
While many individuals of the more competent gender have pointed out my mistakes over the years, it always tends to be after the fact. Funny how that works out.
Thanks for reading and commenting over the years.

And while I’m here, I’m afraid I really can’t resist posting the below. Of course I realise that “it’s” was the autocorrect, not you, Paltego! But try explaining that to her.
The people who make autocorrect software just don’t give enough thought to those of us who face consequences for our mistakes.
Oops, the code didn’t appear! Try this:

It is almost a rule that any comment on the Internet mocking a grammatical or other error will itself contain an embrassing error. But, hey, I’m a humiliation fetishist, I don’t care!
Corrected with a sad lack of accompanying punishment. Although if I did get punished per typo I’d never sit down again.

Congratulation. I still love reading your posts. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing that! Glad you still enjoy the site.

Congrats on your 15 year anniversary. Blogging is easy, continued blogging less so and meaningfull blogging is rare. You can only pick two out of three. Have been following your blog from close to the beginning and it’s always a joy to read your latest posts. Two things that stand out are the elegance of your blog posts and it’s variety. See you in 15.
Also don’t underestimate the importance of blogging. There is so much misinformation, dishonesty, paywalls and age verification. Without bloggers like yourself, how is the next generation ever make its way to [through] the Dark Side safely?
PS, don’t retire. Not only is cleaning a dungeon with a toothbrush a lonely game, life is best enjoyed [suffered/blogged about] with as many people around you as possible. Golden years, my ass. There’s no better life than a busy life.
[Not there yet either but will try to avoid it for as long as possible at all costs.]
Live life to fullest. Be greedy. Don’t shy away from hedonism, wherever it may take you. [Just make sure it’s safe.]
Thank you! Appreciate you reading and saying those nice things :-). The internet certainly seems a less fun and open place than it used to be.
Retirement for me would mean a bunch of time to busy on other projects – indie game dev, writing, travelling, etc. I’ll only retire when I’ll have the funds to keep my life of hedonism and exploration running at the existing rate (at least).
