Here’s some cute artwork to head into the weekend with. It’s from a series of four drawings by Yumine Guo, based on a story by Lutarrel.
The Chancellor took the studious third-born, training him to be useful to her in many ways – in public he was her focused administrative secretary; in private he was her footstool when work was long, her punching bag when work was hard, and her personal whore when work was over.
That’s the kind of administration I could really get behind.

You can find more from Yumine on Subscribe Star and more from Lutarrel on AO3.
My attention was immediately drawn to the hourglass with falling sand. It’s been ages since my engineering courses, but I couldn’t help of thinking back to some problems I had to solve in my youth. I would have been way more motivated to get the correct answer as to the tension in the rope holding the hourglass up with this kind of image !
Not sure if this would count as highly motivating or highly distracting for me! I also just noticed it looks like he’s kneeling on rice or something similar – that’s an extract motivation or distraction, depending on preference 🙂
