The title of the book the lady is studying is a “Textbook of love and marriage“. She seems to have pretty good handle on it already, but I guess there are always a few new ideas to pick up.
The book is by Franz Blei, a Jewish essayist and playwright who fled 1940’s Europe and settled in New York. I’m afraid I’ve no idea who shot the image.
