I have to admit I find it frustrating when people complain a bunch about Trump, Musk and the current political climate, but then exclusively post on Musk’s Twitter. I get posting to both if your livelihood depends on Twitter views, but at least provide the same content on Bluesky.
I do still occasionally scan Twitter, given that a lot of dommes continue to use it exclusively. But I refuse to post, hit like or otherwise engage with it. I’ve struggled with my linking policy. I hate sending anyone there but I also hate not attributing content. My compromise is to try and find any alternative link I can provide, whether that’s Bluesky, Instagram, Reddit or whatever. Only if there’s literally no alternative will I link. If a content creator is exclusively sharing content there, I figure I either need to live with that link or not share the content.
