Suturing with Lady Lydia

The initial negotiation for this scene was short and sweet. A few days beforehand I said “Why don’t we try some suturing?” and Lydia said “Sure!” That meant that going into the scene, as is usually the case, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. Suturing would show up somewhere, but the rest would be left to Lydia’s deviously creative imagination.

She started off with a cutting needle, which was a new experience for me. In the past we’d just used hypodermic needles and passed the surgical thread through them while they were in place. A cutting needle is what’s normally used for suturing wounds and creates (in my experience) a more intense and painful sensation. It’s curved, with the surgical thread attached at one end and a point with a cutting edge on the other. This illustration shows the general idea. When a hypodermic needle is used there’s pain on the entry and exit, but not much as it slides in. With the cutting needle it pretty much hurts the whole way through, much to Lydia’s delight.

Her plan was to create a harness around my torso, using the surgical thread to tie some thicker lengths of cord onto my skin. She’d twist the cutting needle through, position the cord and then tie off the surgical suture. The two images below show close-ups of the sutures in place (click images to enlarge).

I lost track of exactly how many surgical sutures she put into place. A dozen or so would be my guess. She worked across the top of my chest, down the sides and finished with a couple on my back. The resulting harness can be seen in the images below. Lydia is pulling it to show where and how firmly it’s actually attached. Although she was also probably doing it because it hurt.

With the cord harness in place she then started work on my back, developing a very beautiful corset-like ribbon arrangement. This was done with hypodermic needles rather than the cutting needle. She did a series of piercings either side of my spine and threaded them with the surgical thread before removing the needles. Then she wove the ribbon in, pulling the thread taut to hold it in place. I think the end result is gorgeous, and I’m just sorry I could only see it via the camera shots.

With the harness and ribbon in place, Lydia finished the whole arrangement off with some nipple piercing and cock bondage. This was fiendishly set-up so that any movement or stimulation to either pulled painfully on the various piercings and created a massive sensation overload.

The nipple piercing and woven ribbon had to come out at the end of the session, but I was hoping I’d be able to wear the cord harness around my torso for several days. It’s always fun being able to admire marks or bruises in the days after a play session, and having something actually sewn onto my body was even cooler. I enjoyed sitting in meetings at work while gently resting my hand against my chest and feeling the harness. Unfortunately, it was a real problem to sleep on. There was no really good position I could adopt where the cord and sutures weren’t pressing into the very tender piercing points. Sadly, I therefore only managed a day and a night before I snipped the sutures and pulled them out.

While the harness may not have lasted as I’d have liked, my memories of the session will certainly remain with me for a long time to come. It wasn’t as intense as some we’ve done, and I didn’t deeply zone out into sub-space, but it had a beautiful rhythm to it. There’s something very satisfying about lying back while someone decorates your body. It’s almost ritualistic, a very positive type of objectification. As a person I was simultaneously the center of attention and yet also unimportant next to the process itself.

My thanks go out again to Lady Lydia for yet another wonderful session. I remain in awe at her ability to craft memorable and deeply involving sessions every time we play together.

    1. Hey scott,

No need to be impressed with me. I just have to remember to turn up on time. After that it’s simply a case of doing what I’m told 🙂

Lydia, on the other hand, is very much a superstar.
