Doctor Who?

The BBC has announced that the new Doctor Who will be Jodie Whittaker, the first woman to take the role. The reactions to this were entirely predictable: A lot of positive comments; a lot of whining about the PC police ruining the character; a lot of internet analysis of the significance of the decision and what the subsequent whining tells us about society and internet culture.

I used to watch the original series as a child, when Tom Baker and Peter Davidson took the role, but I’ve never really got into the recent revival of the series. As I’ve mentioned before, for someone with geeky tendencies, I’m not big on sci-fi and fantasy shows (with one exception). I’ll probably check out this new incarnation of the Doctor however. Jodie Whittaker was good in Broadchurch and, if the scripts are decent, I can see her creating an intriguing version of the character.

I was tempted to finish this post with some hot Doctor Who cosplay, but decided that the image below was more suited to this blog. It features the characters Amy Pond, Rory Williams and the eleventh Doctor. I’m afraid I don’t know the artist.

You know you’ve probably spent too much time hanging out on kink and fetish tumblr’s when you see an article titled – We Talked to a Professional Cuck About the ‘Alt-Right’– and your first response is ‘I bet I recognize the guy’. According to this article, the Chinese city of Shenyang has created special parking spots just for women. That’s not an entirely new idea. Some cities have dedicated spots for women with young children, or marked spots in well lit and camera covered areas for increased safety. Sadly the Shenyang spots aren’t for those practical reasons. These spots are simply longer and wider (and pinker) to make it easier for women to park in them. Apparently they (allegedly) need help with their parking.

At first glance this seems incredibly sexist and patronizing. But what caught my eye was the labeling of them – Goddess Parking spots. So maybe there’s another explanation. Maybe the city transport division is staffed by femdom fans. They’re not being sexist, they’re just showing respect. If the next rule is that male parking violators have to be whipped by female traffic police, or that the city transport division staff have to clean the parked Goddesses cars in the nude, then we’ll know it’s a femdom fan thing. If not, then I guess we’re back to ‘sexist and patronizing’ as the explanation.

Large cheating ladies

A new year always means one thing – a lot of ‘year in review’ and ‘top trends’ article. They’re the staple of lazy newspapers and bloggers across the world. Throw some sex into the mix and you’ve got instant clickbait. The one that caught this lazy bloggers eye was this from the Independent. According to a very detailed end of year review from PornHub, two of the biggest gaining search terms in the UK in 2016 were ‘Giantess’ and ‘Cuckold’. So if you’re a adult producer targeting the UK, it might be time to start scouting for a very tall lady performer and a couple of guys, at least one of whom can pull off a surprised expression.

Looking across the most searched terms, kink was surprisingly absent. The French and the Italians shared the sudden British curiosity in giantess porn, while the Germans kept their reputation for hardcore S&M by sneaking ballbusting in as a top growing search term. Everything else was the cliched porn terms you’d expect, with ‘lesbians’ leading the way.

Missing the fair

I have the worst timing when it comes to the Folsom Street Fair. As I wrote last year, I always seem to be in SF around it, but never on it. There’s a regular software event called Oracle World a week or two before, which pushes up hotel prices, closes roads and packs the city with the kind of people interested in computer databases. I’ve inadvertently overlapped and been annoyed by that multiple times, including this year. The kinky, fetish event full of naked people and leather gear? Not once.

I’ll finish my cuckold sequence of posts with some man on man action. This is actually fairly rare in cuckold porn in my experience. They often do shots of the submissive’s face close to where all the action is occurring (like yesterday’s post), but avoid any explicit forced-bi. I guess they think it’ll turn some guys off and limit their potential market. It’ll be interesting to see if that approach changes over time. Certainly the prevalence of forced-bi in erotic cuckold stories seems far higher than it does in movies, which indicates some potential demand for it.

Of course there are always exceptions. The Subby Hubby site seems to do more cuck on bull action than most, so might be worth checking out if that’s your thing. While I’m talking about cuckolding (as I was), I’ll make an entirely anecdotal observations: It’s a rapidly growing area of porn. Based purely on my random browsing, I seem to be seeing a lot more of it. A decade ago it was rare, but now it pops up all over the place. At least all over the places I frequent, which are, admittedly, not your usual kind of places.

In many ways it seems the easiest kind of kinky porn to shoot. You don’t expensive outfits, specialist riggers, a dungeon full of toys or a submissive who can take a beating. It’s just a regular porn threesome, except with one of the participants pulling a funny expression and looking aghast at what’s going on. At the same time, it’s also one of the hardest types of scenes to pull off in real life. Persuading a life partner to indulge in a little bondage or spanking is one thing, but it’s quite something to bring a third into a relationship. Similarly, it’s easy to set-up a regular BDSM session with a pro-domme, but very few of them offer a genuine cuckold type experience.

Of course, when it comes to a genuine cuckold experience, the porn productions aren’t much better. They do however have some of the most amusing porn images. This image is a classic of the type. Whenever I see an image like the one below I’m reminded of an old comment on Max Fisch. It was from a domme and related to her unhappy experiences settings up ‘forced bi’ sessions. I typically do a reverse image search for most of the pictures I post in an effort to trace the original creator. While the success rate of that is erratic, it will consistently find me a bunch of femdom tumblrs and pinterest sites that have already featured the picture. When it came to the example below, I was amused to also stumble on a bunch of sites from female horse riders. Clearly the idea was not unappealing to them.

Several had posted it with the comment – ‘Where can I find a mounting block like that?’ I think I can safely say that if you attend a munch or play party and mention you possess jodhpurs, riding boots and crop there should be no problem finding willing volunteers.
