Quite the Collection

I’ve played in hotel rooms a good number of times, and generally had a fun experience. With the right dynamic and a bit of ingenuity you can do all sorts of scenes with a small travel bag of toys. And, as I’ve posted before, playing in a more downmarket location can sometimes have thrills all of its own.

Mistress Chiaki is clearly not a subscriber to that particular approach, given this shot of what looks like a beautiful hotel room and a truly awesome collection of toys. I’ve seen professional dungeons with less equipment than that. I hope she has a retinue of beefy slaves to pack it all up and carry it around for her.

We have the technology

I’m continuing the theme of well furnished playspaces and fancy equipment with this image. Although this has more of the mad scientists laboratory about it than a medical space. It’s just missing the big lightning conductor on the roof to channel the charge down to the chamber below.

I recognize some of the electrical devices, but a lot of it looks custom made. There’s even a laptop there to control things. I particularly like the black articulated arms on the sides of the chair. They look just the thing for holding pointy probes in the perfect spot on your test subjects body.

Equipment I’m afraid I’ve no idea who this very well equipped domme is. If anyone can help out with an attribution then please leave a comment.

And because I’m incredibly anal retentive about some stuff, I hunted through a great many posts to find the original one for the image. For fans of serious bondage the blog looks a very interesting one to follow.

Swinging her tail

I’m continuing my equipment theme from yesterday’s post. That one was about beds and this one is on whips.

It was prompted by the the people over at Mojave Outliers dropped me a nice email asking if I’d list their site on my equipment page. I get a fair number of these kind of emails, typically for what look cookie cutter e-commerce sites with a random grab bag of cheap BDSM toys on them. However, the Mojave Outliers site is nicely put together and shows a real passion for the whips, floggers and general swingy things that they’re creating. They’ve got a wide variety of different custom made whips on offer and I was happy to list them.

I should be clear that I’ve no personal experience with their products, and I certainly don’t make any money from posting about them! I just enjoy discovering people who are passionate about what they do and have the skill to create beautiful equipment for others to enjoy. Plus, it gives me an excuse to feature the image below.

This is a Cat Woman Cosplay by Margie Cox, as photographed by Lou Raimondi. It’s almost certainly not a whip from the folks at Mojave Outliers. And given the Margie is a cosplayer rather than a BDSM enthusiast (at least as far as I know), she’s probably not about to whip anyone with it. But I like the image all the same.

Updated the BDSM Equipment Page

Given we’re now into the Christmas season (at least in some parts of the world), and gift giving is a tradition of this time, I thought I should make an effort to update the equipment page. I’ve added a number of new links on there (indicated with a New suffix), all courtesy of helpful people sending me pointers to interesting places (particularly James). So thanks to all of them for that.

I’m hoping all of my readers are on the naughty list, because that’s always where the fun stuff happens. But I also hope they get whatever toys their kinky hearts desire under the tree this year. Personally, I’d love the Ultra-Chair MK II Advanced, from Style Fetish Industries as shown below (another angle here). Unfortunately, while it look’s like an amazing bit of kit, I doubt I could blend it into my apartment furnishings effectively. While I could accurately claim it as the latest in European furniture design, the big red dildo attachment might give the game away somewhat.

BDSM equipment page now live

The eagle eyed reader may have spotted a new option in the top menu bar – Equipment. This is a new page listing all the interesting sites selling equipment, furniture or clothes that I’ve come across. A few of the links are ones I’ve discovered via my usual random web browsing, a small number are from where I’ve shopped in the past, but the vast majority come from the comments and wish lists of pro-dommes. I figure that they’re probably the best people to listen to when it comes to BDSM hardware and outfits. After all, they buy a lot of it and give it a tougher workout than the average lifestyle player ever will.

If anyone has suggestions for other sites to add to the list then please leave a comment. I’d particularly like to know of smaller sites that offer very specialist craftsmanship. They’re typically the harder ones to track down whilst simultaneously creating the most interesting items.

For illustration I’ve picked two images. The first is from Walsh Metalworks and features Mistress Alex, shot by Natasha Gornik, wearing a metal corset fabricated by Sullivan Walsh. The second is a padded bondage chair from MetalBound. I’m afraid I don’t know the names of the models involved in the second shot.

Fun furniture for fornication

Neither of these images is really female domination. They’re just cool pieces of BDSM furniture. However, feel free to imagine a corseted woman waving a whip around just off camera if it’ll help. Put her in leather and thigh high boots if you prefer. Go wild.

The first is a sleigh bed by Walsh Metalworks, Words can’t express my lust for this particular piece of equipment. It’s a very cool design and, despite all the interesting and exciting furniture found in most pro-dommes dungeons, I’ve had some of my best experiences bound on a bed. Often furniture can be a big part of a scene, creating interesting positions for bondage and torture, but the very simplicity and familiarity of a bed can be a huge asset. It allows the focus to remain on the participants in the scene, rather than the equipment and toys they’re using.

I’m afraid I’ve no background for the second shot. It’s a fun cage, with an interesting stocks like top section. In contrast to the bed, I have to image that this would be a very intense and stressful piece of equipment to use. I’ve no idea why, but I find that kind of opaque separation of head from body when combined with bondage creates quite a strong psychological effect.

Love hurts good on a bed of nails

Here’s a very usual item of BDSM furniture – a bed of nails. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in a dungeon or studio space before. This particularly one is the property of Domina Liza, an English pro-domme. She’s shown in the third photograph below, looking particularly elegant and striking in her black latex catsuit. She also featured in an earlier post, back in 2010.

I’m kind of intrigued to know exactly how this would be used in a scene. I know the theory of a bed of nails is all about spreading the load across many points, ensuring no single one creates enough pressure to break the skin. So I guess it could be used in a type of predicament play. Once the submissive is resting on it start some tease & denial, CBT or NT and watch them try not to squirm. Any excessive movement would presumably create an unbalanced load and increase the pain from the nails. I also image it’s quite psychologically powerful, given how fearsome it looks. Not sure if careful trampling would be possible, but what a headtrip if it was!

Ooh, shiny!

I don’t buy a lot of BDSM gear. I typically play with pro-dommes who have more equipment and furniture than you can shake a whip at. However, I do enjoy window shopping from time to time. Partly because it’s a good way to get ideas for future sessions and partly because I harbor the fantasy of creating my own custom playspace at some point. It seem like it’d be a very fun thing to put together. Unfortunately, given I’m currently single and living in a condo in downtown Seattle, it’s not really a practical proposition right now.

In the meantime I stick to browsing sites like the Stockroom, where I found these two fun looking toys. The one on the left is called ‘The Nut Crusher‘ and the one on the right the ‘Ultimate Asslock‘. Both those names should tell you all you need to know about their function. They’re appealing to me for their very industrial solid construction, almost resembling surgical equipment. As fun as pervertibles can be, there’s something sexy about a device deliberately designed and constructed to hurt someone. Particularly when using it involves screws, bolts and locks. No lightweight straps or buckles involved here.

Name that toy

Today’s post brings you a fun guessing game that the whole family probably shouldn’t play. See if you can guess the function of the BDSM toy shown in the image below. If you’ve been lurking in the max fisch forum’s recently, which is where I found this, you might already know. But for everyone else, it’s probably not all that obvious.

The answer is shown in this image. It looks like an interesting device to play with, although I find the picture of it in use strangely disturbing for some reason. It’s available for purchase from the meo store.

Pillory

This looks like a fun piece of equipment. I’m imagining being forced to stand on tip-toes, keeping the tendons and muscles taut, whilst being caned on the back of the legs. The mistress would take it slowly, circling me with the cane in her hand, waiting till fatigue started to set in, waiting till she could see faint tremors rippling down the back of the legs, then ‘whack!’. A sharp red horizontal line joins its companions. That would surely be both an ‘Mmmmm’ and an ‘Arrrghh’ moment.
