I know why the caged slave sings

Readers will be happy to know that this is the last of my “What I did on my holidays” posts. That was always the first school essay assigned for the fall term when I was child. In those days it always ended up being about sandcastles and ice-cream on the beach. These days it’s more about whips, electroshock and being pissed on. Our session space had a narrow free standing cage I was told to climb into. Once the door was locked they started attaching vicious little clips all over my body and tying them off to the cage bars. Very quickly they built up a web of tense twine and painful clamps. The last image on the right shows a good close-up of that. With dozens of clips pulling tightly in all directions it made any slight movement very painful. CBT done properly

I’ve posted in the past that I’m not sure Bacchus from eros blog really gets femdom. That’s not a crime of course. There’s no reason he should have to understand or enjoy every form of sexuality or porn in the world. In this case his comment that goes along with the image reinforces my previous impression.

I’ve always figured that the men who enjoy cock and ball torture (CBT for short) have bought in (a bit more seriously than most of us) to the old adage “There’s no such thing as bad attention.”

I know he’s kind of joking, but at the same time that seems to miss the mark fairly significantly. There are many easier ways to get attention. And if it was as simple as this, then there would be no such thing as bad CBT. Anyone who has been on the end of CBT that was too much too soon will know that’s not the case. Ramping up the intensity too fast can leave me faint and nauseous, and a long way from my happy subspace.

Really good CBT is, by way of contrast, one of the best and most involving D/s experiences I can have. In many ways it’s a little like the flip side of edging. This is what you get when you combine the happy sadist smile with a look of concentration, and add just a touch of anticipation. As someone who pulls some odd facial expressions when I’m focused on something (or so I’m told), I can sympathize. This rather wonderful pencil drawing is from an artist known as Vernice61 who, based on the speech bubbles, I assume is Italian. Using the Google translate tool, I can just about figure out what is being said. The woman on the right of the victim is saying something about standing still, while the woman on the left is saying “Now you can see how we treat inept servants.” The woman on the sofa is instructing the maid to join her daughters and apply the electrical device to the balls, while the seated man is pleading “Please ladies, I beg not the electrical tool.”

There are a lot of things going on for the slave in the image below. He’s been strapped down and his hands immobilized in bondage mittens. There’s some sort of nipple clamp torture in place. Despite all that, the aspect of the scene that caught my eye was Mistress Sidonia’s placement of her hand on his arm. It’s possible that this was a meaningless and purely transitory gesture that the photographer happened to catch. But I like to think it was a little more than that, and in fact shows a moment of connection between the two of them. I’m typically not someone who enjoys a cold icy dominant. The “Get on your knees and lick my heels you worthless dog” style of play can be fun occasionally. As a general rule however, I prefer someone who actually empathizes with the suffering, whilst still continuing to inflict or even increase it. Steelwerk Gears

I’ve posted about steelwerks before. They’re makers of some of the most creative and beautiful chastity devices currently available. This piece, with its funky gear motif, is a little different.
