A Decade of Femdom Resource

I launched this site exactly ten years ago today. So happy birthday to me and a big thank you to all my readers.

Despite the fact that I’ve been aware for months that I was due to hit this milestone, it still seems quite extraordinary to have made it this far. In that time I’ve written 2,896 posts, which works out to writing a new post approximately every 30 hours for a decade. I’ve been running it for a third of my adult life.

I created the site because the Femdom blog that I wanted to read didn’t exist. I like to think that it now does and all that time hasn’t been wasted. However, it would have died a quick and early death if nobody else had read it. So thanks to everyone out there, readers both past, present and future. It might be a cliche, but it’s also true: I couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for the clicks, views and comments.

This will not be my final post on the topic. As is my usual style, I feel a series of posts coming on. In the meantime, I’ll finish with some art from Augustine. My very first post featured his work, so it seems appropriate to return to it a decade later.

The Houseguest

After publishing yesterday’s post it struck me that I couldn’t possibly feature predicament bondage and not also feature Augustine’s artwork. He’s the master of complex predicaments, often involving heavy medical elements.

On seeing this image, I was immediately reminded of Tyjord’s story ‘The Houseguest’. According to the stories page on Gaggedutopia, it was originally inspired by an Augustine drawing, so I’m guessing this is that drawing. I’m not sure if I should be proud that I made that connection or slightly ashamed at what strange things I have lurking in my brain. If I’d only used the brain cells I’ve dedicated to femdom data for financial planning, I could probably have retired by now.

Augustine returns!

Augustine’s artwork featured in my very first post to this site, and he was the first artist I added to the Femdom Artwork page. He closed the original site for his work some time ago, so I was very happy to hear (via a comment he left) that he’d started a new tumblr featuring both his old work and any new pieces. There are only a handful of drawings there currently, but I’m looking forward to seeing it grow in the future.

Riding the wooden horse

Orlando on his 333 images tumblr site has recently done a whole sequence of posts on the wooden horse torture and its numerous variations. Historically this was a punishment used on men, but he was frustrated to find very little male submissive imagery that he could post. Instead, in modern BDSM porn, it’s almost always female submissives who are portrayed taking the ride.

I think it’s possible to say the same thing about almost any form of BDSM play – there’s always a lot more female submissive imagery than male. But he’s right, the horse does seem particularly sparse in this respect. However, two artists did spring immediately to my mind who I was sure would have something suitable: Augustine and EmmaS. Both specialize in depicting all sorts of tortuous apparatus for the male body. Sure enough, a trawl through my collection popped up a couple of relevant images.

The Augustine one is below. As you’d expect from him, a simple horse torture isn’t good enough, so there’s all sorts of extra tubes and gags and pumps involved. But the metal horse is clearly a key component. The EmmaS one is more disturbingly graphic and brutal, as is typical with her work, but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s available here.

It’s not just for bad breath

Mistress Matisse had an interesting post last year about using Listerine strips in a scene. However, it turns out she’s not quite the original I thought she was. It seems that the artist annmo night had already sketched a few ideas around Listerine as a torture device, as the image below shows. It’s quite an inventive approach, as you’d expect from him. I suspect that there’s no scenario where the submissive wins. It’s just a question of which mistress wins when the submissive loses.

Heavy Medical Play

I don’t know the creator of this particular illustration, but I am impressed by the number of intense medical torments that he or she has managed to cram into a single frame. There’s a catheter, an enema, electroshock and an injection on the way. Not to mention some sort of clamp around the scrotum. Looks fun.

New Augustine Drawings

The imaginative and creatively masochistic Augustine has some new drawings in his latest gallery on imagefap. I particularly enjoyed the one below for the sheer number of exciting torments that he’s managed to cram into a single illustration. How many can you spot in 30 seconds or less?

Obviously there’s the painful predicament bondage. The birch rod. The feet tied down for bastinado. The stretched balls. What look like some sort of metal coil around the penis. A tube or speculum like device in the ass. A catheter. Enforced piss drinking from said catheter. A glowing brazier, which threatens some sort of branding or heat punishment. And finally the collection of jars and pots on the table at the back. Knowing Augustine’s usual modus operandi I’m predicting they contain some highly uncomfortable fluids that will be forced into the unfortunate whipping boy. I make that a total of 10 separate tortures all cleverly illustrated together!
