Pulled On His Knees

I’m continuing the leash artwork theme with this post, although with a pretty significant change of tone. This one is a lot more serious and painful looking. His cute little furry ears are clearly not earning him much sympathy from his owner.

Unfortunately I don’t know who the artist is or if it’s part of an image series. I’d guess it is, but reverse image searching took me nowhere. Momiji refers to red tinted maple leaves, but that doesn’t really help narrow it down.

Thanks to Sardax I believe I now can give an attribution: Koyo who posts under the @KouYou177 twitter handle. As Sardax says in his comment, his work is intense, but definitely worth exploring if you enjoy heavier femdom artwork.

The Goodest Boy

A little humor to kick the New Year off with. This is by the artist Meg Adams.

Leashes are one of those things that show up all the time in mainstream representations of kink but, in my experience at least, don’t get used all that much in scenes. There fun as a transition tool – bringing people in and out of the dynamic. The ritual of attaching them is also hot and fully of lovely symbolism. But they tend to get in the way if you’re doing activities that don’t actually involve being led around.

You can find more from Meg Adams on GoComics and her ARTBYMOGA site.

Happy 2023!

Another circuit of the Sun is completed. Well done everyone. We couldn’t have done it without you. I wish all my readers a fabulous 2023. Hopefully it’ll be filled with much kinky fun.

If one of your New Year goals concerns working on yourself with therapy – and after the craziness of the last few years, that’s probably a popular resolution – then I’d direct my readers to this post by Katherine Control. It gives a lot of really great advice on finding a sex positive therapist and how to screen to ensure you’ve got a good one. While therapy can be an invaluable tool for mental health, not all therapists are created equal – as this thread makes clear. Katherine’s advice will hopefully minimize your chances on posting to future versions of that thread.

This lovely shot of Katherine is sourced from her twitter feed. She’s a Seattle based pro-domme whose professional site can be found here.

Augustine-esque Fiction

Posting the new Augustine artwork reminded me of some femdom fiction that follows similar themes. Lots of predicaments, heavy bondage, enemas and invasive procedures, all inflicted by faux-caring sadistic dommes.

The first is by Tyjord, who has a number of stories on the BDSM Library site. Searching around also led me to a couple of his stories at The Fet Library, which look like they’re slightly more recent.

The second is by switchbent. I originally stumbled across Playdate on the Utopia stories site, but it looks like he’s also got another one at The Fet Library called Go With the Flow.

I don’t think any of the stories will win prizes for realistic scenarios, but if you’re into the themes and like your femdom fiction extreme, then I think they’re worth checking out.

This enema themed artwork is by the artist sometimes known as the German.

New Augustine Artwork

I’ve featured Augustine’s artwork in a fair number of posts over the years, dating right back to my very first post. His blend of tenderness and vicious sadism is always appealing.  Unfortunately, his primary site was wiped out in the great tumblr fire of ’18. There’s various unofficial archives around, but I’ve not see any new work for years. Until now that is.

Augustine dropped me an email a month or so back with a rebooted version of an old series called ‘The Babysitter’.  It’s very much in his classic style – lots of predicament bondage, enemas and sweet sadism – but with updated artwork and text. I don’t normally host images here, given I’m on the hook for bandwidth usage, but I figure this set is worth making an exception for. The image highlighted below is actually the second in a series of seven pages. It’s been scaled down for quick loading, but you can find the full size version, along with all the other images in the series, in the links below it.

Entire images series is available here: Page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4, page 5, page 6 and page 7.

If you’re interested in the original series then you can find a copy here.

Christmas Decorations

One kinky tradition I always enjoy around this time of year is the decoration of a sub. Not every domme partakes, but there’s always a few who share photographs of their submissives festivally attired in holiday decorations. I even got to try it myself many years ago.

The shot below from Mistress Petra Hunter is probably the best example I’ve seen online this year. It’s very sparkly and the star hat is a particularly nice touch. If you look carefully you can see a line of needles at the top of the stomach and at the hip level, so it’s a bit more intense that it looks at first glance. The ‘tree’ seems to be enjoying the experience however.

Christmas Krampus

While the UK and US put a jolly and friendly Santa at the center of their Christmas celebrations, other parts of the world feature mythological creates with a touch more edge. For example, the Krampus from central Europe is a devilish male figure who beats misbehaving children with Birch rods.

As you might expect for a figure featuring corporal punishment and humiliation, there’s inevitably artwork of a kinky adult equivalent. In this case it’s a vintage German postcard of a female Krampus who beats badly behaved men. You can some more examples of the genre here. Doubtless they were aimed at adults who’d had childhood fantasies of Krampus beatings and couldn’t quite understand the strange thrill it had given them. Today it’d be fan artwork on a image forum. Back then it was saucy postcards.

The caption translates as ‘Greetings from the Krampus.’ I sourced this originally from this tweet by the Fake History Hunter.

We’re Back, Baby!

Eagle eyed readers may have spotted a few issues with this site over the last couple of weeks. At first it was flaky and randomly unresponsive. Then it fell over entirely. This was down to my old hosting company who  – and  I say this with no malice or hyperbole – turned out to be a useless shower of bastards. Multiple support tickets filed generated zero response, so I can only assume they’re about to go belly up and everyone competent has either been fired or quit.

Fortunately I managed to move the site to a new host who have been both responsive and amazingly helpful to date. Unfortunately, the only site back-up I had available to restore was from 2 years ago. Meaning that the last 2 years of posts  – around 350 of them – have vanished from the site. You’ll observe that the post previous to this one is dated from December 2020.  Potentially I could rebuild content using the Web Archive Site, but I suspect I’m just going to move forward from here. Life is too short to dwell on past screw-ups.

Apologies to everyone whose comments over the past two years have been lost. I promise to implement a better backup strategy moving forward. Hopefully normally blogging service should now be resumed. I’ll start this new era with an image from the artist Faun Songs. It features a young lady doing to a young man what I feel my old hosting company just did to me. Only without any lube, foreplay or happy smiles.

She’s Got the Look

If you asked 100 random people to describe the the look of a domme or dominatrix, what do you think they’d say? I’d guess a lot of their descriptions would mention accessories like leather, boots, whips, corsets, etc. Or they might bring up attitudes and expressions like being cold, cruel, aloof, icy, etc. However, what if you forced them to leave out anything about clothing, accessories and attitude? Is there a particular classic look or specific physical characteristics that would be frequently mentioned in our theoretical survey? Also, would it matter if the people surveyed were drawn from the general population or from the kink community?

I should add at this point that this question is nothing to do with how a domme should look. There’s obviously no right way for anyone to look, regardless of kinks, gender or sexual preference. I’m just curious about the stereotypes and cultural expectations we get implanted with. It was a topic that came up in a recent twitter thread with Miss Pearl and I thought I’d revisit it via the blog.

I’ll save my opinion on the question for the next post. For an image I wanted something that wouldn’t bias any comments, so here’s something with the submissive as the focus. I love the contrast between the tender kiss and the squeeze.

I’m afraid I don’t have the source for this image.

Porta Potty

While I’m on the theme of playspaces, here’s a particularly unique example from the yapoo folk. As far as I can tell from the images, it’s a toilet set-up inside a van. That’s certainly one way to get rid of your new car smell.

I’m intrigued to know who thought this up. Was it the sub? Were they thinking – ‘Getting pooped on is great, but you know what’d make it really hot? Doing it in traffic.’ Or was it a domme? Did they wait in line for a club bathroom one too many times and decide they’d create their own they could park outside? And can you valet it? If so, I hope they at least remember to crack a window.
