Here’s my final entry in a trio of posts featuring femdom from deviant art artists. This one is by Bakerman and is entitled Overdue Making Up III. I’ve featured his work in the past, and I’ve always enjoyed the humorous and slightly slapstick nature of a lot of his femdom scenarios. In this one it was the ‘Would it be out of line…’ opening that made me smile. It’s a nice juxtaposition of an odd scenario with such a polite and well mannered inquiry. No doubt the man in question is hoping that she’ll find it hard to refuse such a well mannered request from her friend.

The smell of fear … and sin

Continuing the theme from yesterday’s post of fun femdom images from deviant art artists, here’s one entitled ‘Fear and Sin’ by sadademort. I wonder what she has in mind to enhance that fear? Hopefully it’s something involving more sin.

Letting her hair down (and twisting it around)

This image is a nice take on the Rapunzel fairy tale, with an obvious influence from Tangled, the recent Disney version. It’s by the artist iesnoth.

I have to admit that I’ve got a minor kink for long hair, although it’s a relatively recent interest. A few years ago it wouldn’t have been a blip on my kinky radar, but playing with Lydia changed that. She has beautiful long red hair, and tends to incorporate it in subtle ways into a session. She’ll let the edges just brush my skin, let it fold against me, or drift it gently across my face. When I’m in bondage and in pain, that sensual touch, the subtle scent of it, really creates a strong emotional response. It’s a great example of a developed kink, almost a Pavlovian response.

The wrong kind of sex party

One of the nice things about playing with professionals in dedicated spaces is that you don’t have to worry about hiding the equipment afterwards. There’s no worry that an elderly relative will entangle herself in your sex swing. Or, as happened to this unfortunate couple, your kid will lock himself into your handcuffs. The best bit about that story is that it happened during a family party. That must have made for some interesting smalltalk over the punch bowl.

Book Club: Dominatrix on Trial

Welcome to a new series of occasional posts featuring femdom or kink related literature. The plan is to review and recommend books I think might be interesting to my readers. The reality will probably consist of me blathering about whatever caught my eye recently in the kindle store.

First up is Terri-Jean Bedford’s Dominatrix on Trial : Bedford v’s Canada. She’s the retired pro-domme who was recently in the news for taking on the Canadian prostitution laws. This is her autobiography and it splices the drama of her legal entanglements into her life story and work as a pro-domme. She had a troubled upbringing, and an early life that featured drugs, prostitution and low paid jobs. She eventually found stability and a profitably career working as a pro-domme in a dungeon space she designed and created. That is until the police raided it in a very public fashion and splashed her name across the front pages. Rather than take the easy plea bargain she fought back, and the book describes how and who helped do so.

I’ll get the negative stuff out of the way first. Bedford is a solid writer, and communicates the who/what/why information clearly. However, she doesn’t bring it vividly to life in the way a professional writer might have done. I believe she wrote the book over a number of years as the cases progressed, and it’s a shame it couldn’t have been as a collaboration with someone with more literary experience. She also writes a fair amount about her dungeon and the interests of the people who visited, which might be shocking to vanilla readers, but will probably be old news to regularly visitors to this blog. Finally, in several spots she makes sweeping statements about BDSM and why people, particularly submissive men, are kinky. She may be accurately describing her experiences, but I don’t think they can be extended universally, given how complex and varied the world of kink is.

All that said, I did enjoy the book. Some righteous anger at the broken legal system and those who enforce it can be cathartic. Her life has been a turbulent one, and it was inspiring to hear how she kept fighting and about the people who rallied around to help, contributing time and money to her cause. A lot of the lawyers worked pro bono, but the court expenses still racked up quickly, and she was in no position to pay them. The lawyer Alan Young comes across as particularly heroic, leading her original defense to the charges, and then leading the constitution challenge that was eventually successful. The book itself stops just before the recent Supreme Court announcement, but watching that final chapter play out on the news made for a particularly satisfying conclusion all of its own.

I’ll keep this simple. Writing a post after attending a new year’s eve party is liable to lead to much wahrble gahrble and very little insightful commentary. So I’ll content myself by wishing all my readers a happy new year and hoping that all their kinky dreams are fulfilled in 2014. Apart from that one involving fisting, mayonnaise, greasy nipples and the Turin shroud. That’s just sick, and you should be ashamed you pervert.

Fuel for the creative storyteller

Here’s a picture that’s worth much more than a thousand words. I can imagine many interesting storylines that could be spun from it. Who are they? What’s their relationship? Where are they? Is this post-sex, pre-sex or a no sex situation? Why on earth did she not tell him to take those socks off?

Personally I like to think it’s her bedroom and it’s a bosses wife/employee situation. He’s not measuring up in any department, and she’s going to fix that no matter what the time and cost (to him). I’m sure fans of CFNM and of older women with younger men can conjure up many more fantasies from this particular image.

Sneer it with flowers

I don’t normally feature the stereotypical sneering ice queen femdom. It doesn’t often push my buttons and for anyone who does want it, there’s an almost infinite supply on tumblr. However, this particular example of the type did make me smile. There’s something about stance and expression that makes me think she’s about to start smacking him about the head with the flowers. I picture her stalking away muttering about these ‘goddam perverts who keep showing up and slobbering all over my feet’. Clearly mentioning her extensive shoe and boot collection in her OkCupid profile is attracting entirely the wrong type of suitor.

Tease and denial, animal style

I always aim to bring variety to this blog, and to mix it up with odd cross-connections. This post, which features thoroughbred horse breeding, is one of the stranger ones. So brace yourself for the ‘teaser stallion’ as described by the first section in this Australian sports article.

Always up for it, this lowly runt of a beast is brought into proximity with the hind-quarters of the mare when she is on heat, and if she is in the mood and reacts appropriately, the poor brute of a teaser stallion is led away, to be replaced by the prize stallion, who then does the business.

At this point, Mr Prize Stallion, Mr Studley Do-Right, Stud-to-beat-all-Studs then gets led away for a fine feed and a bit of a rub down followed by a nice sleep until he is up for it once more. Our friend Teaser, though? He is taken to the hind-quarters of another mare, to get her in the mood. Of course, she may well kick out with her hind legs, in which case it is only Teaser’s ribs that cop it. And that is Teaser’s whole life!

I’m not exactly sure how that could be translated into a scene, but it sure seems to overlap with a bunch of kinky triggers. There’s tease and denial, cuckolding and, should the mare not be in the mood, tramping, kicking and general brutality. It sounds like a terrible job, but I’d guess some guys would volunteer given a human equivalent.

This vintage porn shot is from Biederer Studios, a Parisian studio that produced fetish photography in the 20’s and 30’s. I assume that the head he’s wearing was taken from an actual horse, which makes it particularly weird and disturbing. It’s also good to see that the tradition of men in porn inappropriately wearing socks is a long standing one. Heaven forbid he should literally get cold feed while being whipped wearing an authentic horse’s head.

Bound on a bed, K-I-S-S-I-N-G

I’ve really nothing clever to say about this image. It’s very cute and makes me sigh in a wistful manner. There’s some expertly done rope bondage and a couple clearly enjoying their moment. What’s not to like?
