What seems to be the problem, officer?

This image made me smile, although I suspect it may only be my British readers who have a similar response. Stern female police officers aren’t exactly rare in femdom imagery. However, they’re typically US uniforms, or some more generic European outfit with militaristic overtones. It’s rare to see a classic British outfit, complete with a white shirt, black jumper and elbow patches.

No offense to the two stars here – Mistress Baton and Leicester Governess – but this put me in mind of the movie Hot Fuzz. That takes a classic British Bobby setting and put a humorous spin on a modern US style action movie around it. I’m sure these two talented ladies can administer a sound thrashing to a guilty man, but I also suspect a hot cup of tea might be at the end of it.

Mistress Baton (who I’ve featured here previously) is normally based in Johannesburg, but I believe she’s currently touring and taking sessions in England. The Governess is based in Leicester and her professional site is here.

  1. I did in fact once know a very young DCI in Brighton who, whenever she turned up to, say, a ruction in a pub, was assumed to be the stripogram. This lasted precisely as long as it took her to get out her warrant card and arrest the offender, but I’m sure it was very annoying.

  2. There’s a distinct pattern in your last few posts. Five dommes, five career switches, out of or into professional domination, but hardly ever by choice.

    1) Mrs Urbianak turned guru, even though her classes make little sense to me.

    2) Domina Nyx was denied a career switch.

    3) “Impecunious Nichi was then invited into the sexual underworld and initiated into the sphere of professional domination. Having struck a Persephonoid pact, she used that money to support her journalism as she bargained with the media to pay her a living wage.” – from her website. Not a fan. On top, Mrs. Hodgson is a professional journalist.

    4) Mistress Velvet was forced to travel the route in reverse. She began pro-domming to make end meets, but also to “get out of this relationship that I wasn’t enjoying.” She talks of “survival sex”. Even though she enjoys her work as a dominatrix (or at least that’s how I read the article in the Huffington Post), any kind of sex work, including professional domination, ought to be a positive choice from the moment you get into it, meaning: you do it because you want to, not because you have to.

“Eventually, I realized, wow, I’m emotionally invested in my clients.” Perhaps one of the most beautiful lines, I’ve ever read when it comes to professional domination.

Regarding her ideas on feminism and race, I really hope she will post some essays online to clarify her ideas. Would be interesting to read.

    5) Finally mistress Baton, I forgot all about how she was a well-known actress, before a stalker made her come forward forward and tell all about her “BDSM journey.” A quick look at her IMDB page shows her last credit was in 2011. One can only hope it’s not because she spoke out about her love of BDSM, but I doubt it.

Maybe I should elaborate on these five women in a post of my own. Thanks for an interesting series of articles, whether or not you intended it like this 🙂

    1. Certainly wasn’t intended, but funny you spotted a connection that tied them together. Not sure if it was coincidence or my subconscious at work. Feel free to elaborate :-).

I’m not sure I agree with the line that “any kind of sex work, including professional domination, ought to be a positive choice from the moment you get into it”. Or rather I’m not sure why this should be specific to sex work. In an ideal world, one would hope that all work was a positive choice that a person makes. Inevitably of course that will not always be the case, and then one would hope that the person either moves on or decides they do like it after all. For all forms of work.
