Losing her cherry

I’m slightly ashamed of what I’m about to do. I swore I’d never do it. Yet here, I am, about to link to a BuzzFeed article. The site whose sole purpose seems to be to show up in annoying unfunny facebook posts from people I can barely remember friending, is about to get click traffic from me, damn it.

The article in question – 34 GIFs that sum up your first sexual experience – isn’t even femdom, but it did make me laugh a lot (particularly #5 & #18). BuzzFeed stole it all from a reddit thread of course.

As a teenager I always thought sex would be this amazing and intensely pleasurable experience. In time I found out that while that can be true, getting there involves a fair amount of awkwardness, mistakes, messiness, embarrassing moments and humorous situations (those mostly in hindsight). That really doesn’t get mentioned as much as it should.

I leave you with a shot of a lady about to lose her cherry. I hope he’s gentle (for his sake).

  1. Don’t be ashamed, it’s HIIIIIILARIOUS! My favorite is #26. And this one, from the original reddit thread: http://www.lordofthememe.com/lists/1093/The-15-Best-Frodo-Moments-As-GIFs/2

Sex is tricky! There’s a common misconception that it’s this amazing passionate thing that is just a constant ramping up to both people having an orgasm at the same time, fireworks, etc…. The reality is that there’s lots of ups and downs, awkwardness, and many different ways of having sex besides penetrative sex and there is no right way and no normal. As you know this is a topic I’m very passionate towards, I can go on and on but I’ll stop. 🙂

    1. It is a great article, but I still hate the BuzzFeed site :). And I can’t believe how many people posted on the original reddit thread. Clearly it struck a chord!

Tricky is definitely the right word. Hopefully great, sometimes bad, but frequently tricky! It makes me glad that there are people as smart as yourself out there who can be passionate and go on about it 🙂

  2. Hilarius indeed … One for the list of URLs I keep. Thank you so much for sharing.

I remember I thought I was very well prepared for my first time. Got my sex education from Mum, my elder sisters and from books, I had an IUD in place and I was pretty deft with condoms, cucumbers and peeled bananas.

Came the first time and with it lesson number ONE: A live dick, attached to a nervous 18 year old, is not a piece of dead fruit …

Lesson number TWO: Hooking up properly – manoeuvring the plug into the proper socket so to speak – looks and sounds a hell of a lot easier than it is, first time. Believe me. But we got that right too, after a lot of giggling and wiggling …

I wouldn’t call it screwing, looking back from here and now. But we managed not to screw (it) up. Quite an achievement, for a couple of fumbling first time offenders, don’t you agree?

    1. I had the advantage of a real live dick to practice with beforehand, and still had condom issues the first time. As you also discovered, When your nervous, excited and the fingernails are flying, slippery condoms can definitely be a problem.

And yes, the plug/socket issue was also a surprise for me. In the movies (both porn and mainstream) everything just magically slides into places, no muss and no fuss. It turned out that passionately kissing and smashing hips together didn’t really work! I’m certain on my first time it took me longer to gets things lined up than it did to consummate the act 🙁 If you were giggling during the process it sounds like you both had the right approach to it!
